  • The apartment was very cute and comfortable and the yard was lovely. It also has a great view of Montepulciano. We were greeted by Daniele's grandmother who spoke very little English but we were able to figure out most things. We did ask how to work the heater and were quickly shown written instructions that turned out to be in Italian, so we had to call Daniele's mother who sent someone out to get the heat turned on. Also, it seemed strange that the apartment did not have wine glasses or a wine bottle opener. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.

  • Our stay near Montepulciano was great! The location was perfect for our needs. We rented a couple of bikes to cycle around the region to see the countryside and villages and the place was kind of in the middle of it all. There's an outdoors bit that's great for sitting to eat breakfast/dinner and/or enjoy sunset/sunrise and stars. Great view! Daniele was very helpful with directions, having emailed us a super detailed route. Although it took him a tiny bit of time to respond sometimes he always came through. We enjoyed our stay!

  • The apartment it self was incredible we had a whole guest house to ourselves and a small yard with covered patio, the view of the hill top village of Montepulciano from the patio is picture perfect! Daniel who was our contact via email had his mother and grandmother meet us and showed us the apartment but the grandmother did not speak any English We met some really nice people who actually live full time in the main house who speak English though our time here will be forever in our memory and we ever find ourselves in Montepulciano we will for sure try and stay here again

We had an excellent visit to this area of Italy I would also like note the wine of this region, the Nobile is truly amazing wine.

  • This was a lovely apartment located within sight of Montepulciano. With its lovely garden and country like setting, it was simply gorgeous. We were unable to sit in the garden because it was unseasonably cold while we were there, but we wished we could have had our bottle of wine in the garden. The house was exceptionally clean and while we didn't meet Daniele, his mother was very kind in showing us around.

Hello everyone! My name is Daniele, I am a 22-year-old guy originally from Siena, a city located at the very heart of Chianti and Tuscany. Just recently, I finished my studies in International Management at Bocconi University in Milan, Lombardy and now live in Madrid to complete my Master Degree in Management. A few words about me: I love conducting a healthy life, that is I like jogging, running, going to the gym and so on. Also, I dance at a competitive level latin american dances, and at an amateur level caribbean dances. Another great passion of mine are languages: my mother tongue is Italian, but I speak fluent French and English, and, at an intermediate level, Spanish and Portuguese as well. Almost trivial but nevertheless important to remark, I love travelling: I visited Germany, Spain, Austria, France, Belgium and Scotland in Europe; as for the long trips I visited Boston, MA, 5 years ago and Shanghai, CHN, in July 2011. The most recent international trip goes back to February 2012, when I had the opportunity to visit, for study purposes, Dubai, UAE. Travelling is like a curse for me: the more I do it, the more I want to do it! :-) Now, let's move to my family: My father, mother and sister live in Siena, and we also have a dog named Luna (Italian for "moon"), and a red cat named Maia. Both of their names were irrevocably decided by my younger sister. We are a very open-minded, curious and welcoming family, easy to get along with, I promise! We will happily host anybody willing to visit our beautiful medieval city, famous for the Palio, a spectacular horse run held twice a year in July and August. Looking forward to meeting you! Daniele
