This cozy log cabin is beautifully furnished with a luxurious rustic style. The cabin very comfortably sleeps six. It offers a private master bedroom which includes a king bed with memory foam mattress, television, and full closet. The loft includes (2) double beds (also with memory foam mattresses) and another television. Linens and extra pillows and blankets are included.
Turn on the electric fireplace and snuggle up with loved ones and a cup of coffee on the living room's cozy leather couch and love seat. Board games and playing cards are provided for a fun family game night. Netflix is complimentary during your stay on all (3) smart TVs in the cabin.
The combination kitchen/dining room area is fully stocked for cooking your own meals! The dining table will easily accommodate six, and the kitchen offers a full refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker (both single and multi-cup). Bakeware, cookware, dinnerware, silverware, and glasses/wine glasses are available. Basic kitchen amenities including salt/pepper, oil, and coffee filters are included.
The cabin has a full bath including a tub. All bath linens are provided. The bathroom also provides both a washer and dryer available for guest use at no charge. A hair dryer and iron/ironing board are available.
The cabin has a great outdoor space! Enjoy nature and wildlife from the porch swing and rocking chairs on the covered front porch, or roast hot dogs and S'mores around the backyard fire pit from the Adirondack chairs (firewood provided). If grilling is more your outdoor cooking style, the cabin also offers a Blackstone griddle, which is perfect for cooking any meal. To top off your outdoor experience, grab a glass of wine and head to the back yard 6-person Viking Spa hot tub (with Bluetooth speakers!) nestled under the trees for perfect relaxation.
Laundry detergent, hand soap, and dish soap is provided throughout your stay.
A starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion is provided. For longer stays, guests may need to supplement these amenities.
For families with little ones - a travel-sized pack-n-play with fitted sheet is available for infants. The cabin also has a Fisher Price high chair/booster with tray table that attaches to a dining chair.
Guest access
The rental includes access to the entire cabin and half acre wooded property (with exception of one small locked host closet). Parking is available in the driveway to the home as well as a gravel pad adjacent to the road.
Other things to note
The cabin is approximately a 5-min drive to the winery/brewery/dining and Patoka Lake's gate. We provide a complimentary Indiana State Park pass for use during your stay for free entrance into Patoka Lake.
Quiet hours are 10pm-8am to maintain the charm of this quiet, wooded neighborhood.
The cabin is located on a private gravel road only maintained by local residents. Four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended during winter months in case of ice and snow.
The area has limited cell service, but free wifi is available at the cabin as well as a landline phone for emergencies.
