I will stay again the next time I come to Asheville. The location was central and the house peaceful, quiet and very comfortable. Also attractive with nice art and furniture. We had more than everything we needed. Michael was there to greet and was helpful with suggesting activities. Perfect Asheville stay!
Michael was very helpful and accommodating for our stay. House is well stocked, clean, and in a great location to downtown. House is well appointed and offers great views from the master bedroom and porch. We will definitely stay here again.
Michaels place has everything you're looking for! It's comfortable, cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway to Asheville. Michael was so welcoming and helpful, even giving suggestions and recommendations on where to visit and dine. The dual head shower is amazing and the tempur pedic bed will provide the perfect nights sleep. Thanks again to our host and recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay as you experience Asheville
What an amazing house! My girlfriend and I came up to Asheville from Greenville, SC looking for a weekend getaway and Michael's house was the ultimate "home base" for our trip.
The home was extremely comfortable, very clean and well-kept! Michael was readily available to answer any questions we had throughout the weekend and even gave me some recommendations for restaurants ahead of our visit!
I would without a doubt reserve this house again on another trip, it was absolutely perfect! Great house, great location, and great host!
We enjoyed our Asheville stay immensely. Michael was always a text away if we had any questions. He sent us detailed instructions re: the house and a list of recommendations on places to eat. We were definitely close to everything. Regarding the location in general, quirky is the best word to describe it. Never did we or our friends feel unsafe.
Michael was a very accommodating host for my family and I when we traveled to Asheville in late December. He provided detailed instructions about entry to the home, all the appliances and even how the showers and light switches work. He was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any texts or messages as our stay approached.
Michael's neighbor stopped by to say hello and greet us, and provided some recommendations of her favorite close by breweries.
The home was a short drive in to downtown and a short walk down the hill to the arts district, where we walked to Pizza Pura and the coffee shop as well.
Michael has created a wonderful place and we really loved his house. It's decorated very well and Michael is an attentive host. It's quite close to downtown and all of the sights that one would want to see in Asheville. We were a little concerned with the neighborhood and safety so we probably wouldn't return based on what we paid.
I'm glad you had a nice time with the house. It is most certainly not a cookie cutter or mc-mansion area, beautifully blending historic Victorians, modern architecture and modest homes of everyday people that call Asheville home. The house is situated between the River Arts District, South Slope and Downtown Asheville making it one of Asheville's most desirable neighborhoods. Our neighborhood, like most of Asheville, is safe, diverse and charmingly quirky. Please read the following 95 5-Star reviews.
