The Space

Welcome to our house! This is a furnished bedroom (email hidden) apt, located in Williamsburg, right off the Hewes stop on the JM line, the Broadway stop on the G line and a short walk away from Lorimer stop the L line. The L and the JM trains will get you to the heart of Manhattan in under 20 minutes and the G train is great for getting around Brooklyn (Green Point, Fort Greene, Park Slope, etc...). In other words: it's the perfect spot to start from and come home to after a full day of adventures in NYC. Queen-size bed, sheets and towels, AC in bedroom, internet, living room - and the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the floor-through apt. There are lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance, as well as pharmacy, laundromat, supermarkets etc. Tips and recommendations of course come with the stay!!

Check In
  • Adam and Ali are lovely, genuine and intelligent people! They are fun to hang out with, while also being respectful of privacy. I have stayed with them for a month, and would be delighted to return in the future.

The room is exactly as pictured: spacious and well-furnished. The only unexpected thing was hearing nearby traffic at night, but I slept very well with the AC on. I'm very glad I stayed at Adam's apartment because it really cute and convenient (just a few minutes away from Manhattan by train).

  • Great apartment, had everything we needed for our stay in NYC. The subway station is literally around the corner, and you can easily get to different destinations from there. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

  • Adam's place was a pleasure to stay and the surroundings felt very same, although some may call it sketchy. Adam was a great host and I'd stay with him again.

  • Adam was a great host, he gave us any information we needed and made us feel most welcome.
The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed making breakfast in the well equiped kitchen, and reading the New York Times on the comfy sofa in the living room.
It's a very nice appartment in walking distance to the center of Williamsburg and with direct Subway connections to Park Slope and Prospect Heights and of course Manhattan. We loved the shops, restaurants and cafes around the area (more affordable and better quality compared to Manhattan).
    Highly recommended.

  • Adam was an exceptional host. He was clean, kind, considerate, friendly and helpful. Very cool guy. I felt immediately at home. The place was simple and cozy. My room was comfortable and perfect in every way. The location of the apartment was ideal - close to the M train and walking distance from all my favorite places in Williamsburg. I would definitely stay there again.

Hi! I moved here in September of 2012 with my girlfriend (Ali) from the midwest where we were both in graduate school. I finished my PhD in Physics in May at which point Ali and I took 3 months to travel throughout Southeast Asia and India before moving to New York. Now I'm working at a internet tech company that analyzes streams of data related to music. iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, (website hidden), Myspace, you name it. If bands use it to get their music out to the world we track it, keeping our fingers on the pulse of the music industry. Ali just returned from a year of research in West Africa and is working on finishing her dissertation. In addition to being passionate about music (listening, making, and tracking), I also love traveling, cycling, board games, puzzles, and dancing.
