Friendly interaction when we see eachother for laundry, or outside the house.
Bloor West Village is a Toronto treasure — there's a laid-back feel in this neighborhood, yet we're so close to the intensity of the downtown core. I love the parks, the streets lined with old-growth trees, the proximity to other fabulous areas like The Junction and Roncy, and how nice people around here are.
Public transit is incredibly easy from our house. We live two blocks from buses and the subway system on Bloor Street.
Safe and convenient street parking is available right out front — a temporary parking permit can be purchased online from TO City Hall — a week costs $21.

About the Host, Elyssa
Hi, welcome to my Airbnb page. I am a creative professional proud to call Toronto home since coming here in 2010 from the West Coast. As well as being an avid cyclist, I enjoy all the beautiful natural walking trails that are all around my neighborhood, including High Park and the wild ravine just a block from my house. Besides being a wonderfully multicultural city, Toronto can also boast a vibrant and exciting fine art, dance and theatre scene. If you're new to Toronto and would like a little help in exploring it, I would be happy to guide you to some of my favorite places.
