Interaction with Guests
Friendly interaction when we see eachother for laundry, or outside the house. If you'd like to have an informal chat about what's on the neighbourhood or orienting yourself in Tirinto, I'd be more than happy to!
Bloor West Village is a Toronto treasure — there's a laid-back feel in this neighborhood, yet we're so close to the intensity of the downtown core. I love the parks, the streets lined with old-growth trees, the proximity to other fabulous areas like The Junction and Roncy, and how nice people around here are.
Public transit is incredibly easy from our house. We live two blocks from buses and the subway system on Bloor Street.
Safe and convenient street parking is available right out front — a temporary parking permit can be purchased online from TO City Hall — a week costs $21.

Elyssa is a great host, the house and the neighbourhood are very nice. This is a great place to stay.
Elyssa's place was great. Very comfy bed! Handy kitchen, close to Runnymede subway, calm area, beautiful landscaping at front, nice little patio... I've love to come back!
Elyssa was always friendly and helpful in her communications. She allowed us to drop our bags off earlier day which we appreciated. When we arrived there were some lovely things for us in the fridge. Her description and photos of the suite were accurate. We were comfortable and slept well there. The location is fabulous. Great price too. We would definitely return.
Awesome host and a great location. I never had a chance to explore High Park West. Very nice area. Super convenient if you are coming in from the airport but still want easy access to downtown.
Top tip: There is some overnight parking by the small park south of the house about three blocks.
I arrived earlier and Elyssa made sure that I get in the apartment upon arrival. She is very friendly and replied promptly to all my questions and I really appreciate that. The location was great, a short distance walk to Bloor St. and High Park. Nice area with beautiful trees and houses.
This cottage-style apartment was amazing! The area was really fun and the apartment was so comfortable! I recommend it to everyone. Elyssa and her daughter Astrid were wonderful hosts. My girlfriend Lolly and I had the nicest stay and we feel like we have made new life-long friends!
Elyssa's unit was an absolute delight. Very clean and bright, and extremely comfortable as well. Elyssa was extremely friendly and hospitable. Outstanding accommodations for up to two people in an exciting part of Toronto. Highly recommended!
About the Host, Elyssa
Hi, welcome to my Airbnb page. I am a creative professional proud to call Toronto home since coming here in 2010 from the West Coast. As well as being an avid cyclist, I enjoy all the beautiful natural walking trails that are all around my neighborhood, including High Park and the wild ravine just a block from my house. Besides being a wonderfully multicultural city, Toronto can also boast a vibrant and exciting fine art, dance and theatre scene. If you're new to Toronto and would like a little help in exploring it, I would be happy to guide you to some of my favorite places.
