Welcome to our laid-back, "smoke friendly" house, where you will find a vaporiser in almost every room. It is Amsterdam after all and you'll find us in the heart of it.
We live on the lovely Keizersgracht canal and you will find us on the corner with Utrechtsestraat, just two blocks south of Rembrandtplein. So you'll find plenty of local bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops just around the corner.
The #4 Tram stops just outside our front door, but there is no need to buy a Tram pass as we are within walking distance to pretty much everything you are coming to see. We also have some bicycles that we are more than happy to let you use free of charge. Just let us know when you arrive. It's a fun and safe way to explore the city.
Our house is the whole 5 floor canal-side building. It's an old building that's been decorated in an eclectic and quirky style. We have divided up our house into a few single and double rooms, both with and without en-suites and a few larger self contained units we call apartments. All The rooms/apts are off a common stairway and share the same entrance, but the room/apt is your own private space that you do not need to share with anyone.
On the 3rd floor we have this small little room in the back of the house that we call the Library.
It makes perfect accommodation for 1 or 2 people on a budget, who are just looking for a place to sleep and leave their stuff in the centre of Amsterdam while they explore the city.
You have access to our shared bathroom with shower downstairs from your room on the ground floor.
There is a computer in the room for you to use that is connected to the internet and a server full of movies and shows for you to watch.
Free Secure WiFi is also available throughout the building. Just ask us for the password when you arrive.
We also provide sheets and towels, so you just need to bring the soap :)
We live in the building downstairs, so we are usually around if you need any help and advice or just to hang out and chat with.

The apartment is well located, but the library room is really small and not very comfortable.
The place was in a perfect location in Amsterdam, markets, restaurants, coffee shops, bars were all in short walking distances from the place. I had a wonderful time and would recommend her place to others.
Great experience, hospitality and perfect location!
The library room was a great place to stay in Amsterdam. It was private and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well organized, with lots of books. We didn't try to use the desktop computer but the wifi was excellent and we never had a problem using our own laptop. The location was excellent as well, right on the Keizergracht and steps away from Rembrandtplein and some wonderful Indonesian restaurants. Everything in Amsterdam is within walking distance from practically everything else, but even so this was a great location. Alan was very nice and welcoming, offering us the use of his bikes and his museum card.
The only issue my wife had with the house was the constant aroma of weed - but hey, we came to Amsterdam didn't we?
We heartily recommend this room.
It's a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything.....it's comfortable and handy to everything and the crowd is cool and repects your privacy. I was there for two nights.....no Dramas and the People who ran the place were sweet......Special thanks to Adeline for making me feel welcome......all the best.....Patrick
The location is just perfect, easy to access and quiet. The hosts are really friendly, they let us use their bikes and provided us really good advices. It's a really good bargain if you want to enjoy and discover Amsterdam. Don't be too picky on your confort and you'll be just fine. I would definitely recommend
We both had a great stay at Allan and Danny's place. Good location and quiet place to rest after a long day of walking! Would come back!
Had a nice stay at Bed and Net. The location is perfect (at most a 20 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to go), and the staff was super friendly. As noted in other reviews, the room's a bit small and the shower situation isn't the most convenient, so keep that in mind while booking. That being said, neither prevented us from having a great time, and it would be hard to find a place with a better location.
This is THE place to stay when in Amsterdam. The room we had was small but sooo cosy. The hosts went above and beyond what is expected. I cannot recommend this stay enough :-) I will definitely try and stay here again when visiting Amsterdam in the future.
In nearly 3 months I stayed there 3 times for 2 nights. It is more a private hotel than a private guest house, but two things are convincing: location is excellent, price too. The shower is downstairs, not my case. Communication excellent.
