Juri was so kind and made me feel comfort. And the place was quite neat and dandy. I think Juri has talent in interior:-) The location of the place was good. Actually it located from 7 stations from the central station. But very near(10 minute by walk) from the national art museum and Van Gogh museum. In addition, you can find supermarket near the house and also can enjoy weekend market very near from the house!
We stayed in the apartment for a month and a half because we were in between apartments.
Juri was very welcoming and showed us around. The appartement is located in a great location in Amsterdam and close to everything you would want to visit or need. The tram is very close to the appartement which makes it easy to go across town.
However, we spend a day cleaning the appartement upon arrival because, as mentioned before, it has been neglected for some time. All the utilities seemed old and passed its due. We used most of our own utilities.
It can be a good appartement because of its location but it needs a good cleaning and a renewal of utilities/equipment.

Juri is a very nice person and great host - good communication, contact and lots of good energy from him.
About the place itself - it's located very well, with lots of restaurants around, close walking distance to RAI, and not far from city centre.
However, the apartment is not as clean pictures would like to show. The toilet is so small I couldn't fit in, and the shower was barely working, so I repaired it myself. Mouse trap under the heater, and dusty mess under beds also weren't very encouraging.
So first impression not too well, but overall it was a good stay. If Juri worked on his sheets&towels+cleaning logistics and maybe add a little touch to the bathroom, it would become an excellent place to stay in Amsterdam.
I feel like the apartment has been neglected and that for the same amount of money we could have stayed in a nice hotel. The back porch had garbage and slices of pizza on it. The door to the fridge and dishwasher was left on the back porch. The fridge smelled of recently removed moldy food during the entire stay. Though I could see the heaters were turned all the way up the apartment never warmed up very well so maybe they were broken. There was a mouse trap in the living room which was unnerving. The shower would only trickle out causing you to huddle under what little water you could get, and a bad seal in the floor caused half the bathroom to flood following a shower. So because of the neglect of the apartment I do not feel it is worthy of the price. Honestly we picked this place because of the reviews and pictures, had we known what the pictures were not showing we never would have stayed there and believe you should know what youre getting.
The good thing about this place is that it is in a good location we walked everywhere we needed and there was free parking in the streets which we found a spot as soon as we got there.
I stayed in Juri's apartment with two friends for three nights. Juri was a very accommodating host. We did not meet in person during our stay, but he was nonetheless helpful in pointing us to some good places to get food and drinks during our first visit to Amsterdam. The apartment was absolutely perfect for what we needed, and looks just as advertised. It was well-furnished and clean. Both the bed and the couch are quite comfortable after a long day of exploring the city. The location is great; it's very close to public transport, but it's also close enough to the city center to just take a long walk to places like the Rijksmuseum.
