Was very happy with the condo. Location was great, amazingly beautiful views, and the folks who coordinated the room in Cancun were really great. My tip would be to check out the cove at the south end of the strip, by Club Med. Calmest waters, and not crowded.
Extremely happy, and would definitely rent again.
Jack was very helpful and accommodating to situations as they came up, he was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. The rooms that we were given were fantastic and incredibly well located. I am someone who appreciates good service and what we received was more than I expected for a rental unit. It made the trip so much easier to plan knowing that the place to stay at was taken care of.
All in all, great service and hospitality, will deffinetly contact Jack again for my next visit to Cancun.
Our stay was superlative, pure and simple. As Jack deals with a number of condos, our first choice wasn't available so we gladly took a penthouse for a little bit more money. Then, when we arrived, we were updated to a corner penthouse for no extra charge. This condo had not only a balcony, but two terraces to hang out on. If you're staying in the hotel zone, this is a great location, as it is calmer than the northern end of the zone.
A few tips: if you're a tourist/adventurer, you must explore beyond the hotel zone. Mexicans and Mayans are some of the most friendly, helpful, and sweet people you'll ever encounter (except when they get behind the wheel of a car, but that's another story). We actually rented a car and if you get the full insurance, are a bit brave, comfortable with stick shift, and really want to avoid the hordes of tourists, I highly recommend it. You don't need a car to take a bus up to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Catch the 9 O'clock to the island, go to Prisma rentals and rent a golf cart to explore the island (we got Jesus down to $450 pesos - about $34) - head south to Garafon Castilla, pay the small entrance fee and enjoy yourself on the beach with great restaurant. It's right next to Parque Garafon which is very expensive. Don't miss the sculpture park at the very south end of the island.
If you have a car, head down to Tulum to get there at opening and enjoy the ruins before the hordes arrive. Head toward Coba and stop at the Gran Cenote for a swimming experience you'll not soon forget. Head to Coba, hire a tricycle taxi and experience the only pyramid that you can still climb. It's a long drive back so make sure you get to the big highway, 180D, I think it is.
Head down to Akumal and swim with the tortugas (giant turtles). If you're a snorkeler, no need to join a tour. Just follow behind one.
Head down to Puerto Morales and drive to the Snorkeling Tours booth right by the beach on the town square. The 250 peso boat ride out to the reef is well worth it and they'll let you park there all day. Lovely town.
Whatever you do, do it early, early, early. That's the trick.
Thank you so much, Jack and Michelle!
You can hear the ocean from the condo - so relaxing.
A real treat was the coffee machine.
Buses at entrance and there was never a wait more than 1 minute and i used them a lot .
If i get back to Cancun I'd be wanting to use the same condo
Jack n'avait plus de disponibilités dans ses condos, mais il a fait l'effort de nous en trouver un à proximité. Merci!
Was a pretty good place in a good location. No wifi in the room was a slight problem though but a good place if you're on a budget
Great location and a great deal. Jack and the staff were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in suite 3802 and my experience was amazing. I visited other resorts during my stay in Cancun and we had by far the best beach. Lots of beach volleyball courts and friendly people around every corner. The condo is located just south of all the hustle and bustle of the club zone, but it's only a quick 20 min bus ride on the R2 and you're right in the middle of the action. Also there are some nice little restaurants where you can watch the sunset right beside the oxxo, both north and south of the condo. The cleaning staff was great and kept our condo spotless. Our only complaint was there was no blender! Everything else was perfect. Thanks Jack
We were not able to come to Mexico after we had already booked our stay with Jack. He could not have been more accommodating-- He let us change our reservation so that a friend could use the place on different days than we originally scheduled.
