Overlooking Sydney's Hyde Park & the Sydney CBD skyline, this renovated fully furnished Executive Apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. Beautifully appointed and ideally located right on Hyde Park.

The Space

Sweeping views across Hyde Park, the Senitath and the CBD. Sound-proofed with central air revere cycle conditioning, or the windows can opened for Hyde Park breezes, especially in the evening. The bedroom includes a hotel grade Queen Size bed and full length built in wardrobes. The lounge room has a comfortable full size double sofa bed. Plenty of mood lighting to enjoy the location by day or by night. Full linen and toweling for guests is provided. Total sleeping is 4 Pax plus one baby (please order our Porta-Cot if required).

Guest Access

There is also a study work area with desk off of the living room, high speed Wi-Fi internet, Digital hi-fi sound system for your iPod, flat screen digital TV, fully functioning kitchen with SMEG oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, all utensils glassware and crockery is included. The bathroom also has a clothes washing machine or you can use the main laundry facilities on the Mezzanine level. Ironing facilities are within the apartment.

24 hour concierge, rooftop heated pool spa gym and sauna with excellent harbor & city views, and a fully licensed restaurant on the ground floor.

Interaction with Guests

Your keys will be held at the ground floor reception desk in an envelope marked to your attention. The apartment will be all ready for you so simply pick up the keys from reception and go to the third floor and let yourself in.

The Neighborhood

Close to all conveniences, shops restaurants Sydney’s Oxford Street, Darlinghurst night life, and the best city landmarks, museum, art gallery, Sydney Harbor, Sydney Opera House, China Town, Darling Harbour & Sydney Convention Center etc. This location is also the Parade starting point for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Getting around

Underground City-Rail train, Mauseum, St James or Town Hall Stations all close by. Buses, plenty of taxis, or walk almost anywhere.

Taxi from the airport will take about 20 minutes and cost about AU$37. You can also catch the train from the airport and alight at the Liverpool Station on Hyde Park. After you exit the station walk for 3 minutes up Liverpool Street towards the east, and you will reach the building. There are also many tourist bus services from the airport to the building door.

  • Very nice and clean apartment, great location, as well recommendable for three people (confortable sofa bed), usefull information sheet about the apartment, nice rooftop recreation facilities. It was easy to communicate with Peter. He communicated clearly and was helpful.

  • Although I couldn't see Peter face-to-face, he is very helpful and informative. He text me often if he can help me anything, he is a superb host.
    The location of this apartment is perfect ever. I keep visiting Sydney almost 10 years, this south-east corner of Hyde Park is the very best so far. It’s adjacent to Museum train station and the bus stop is in front of the apartment. Major Sydney sightseeing points are also in walking distance. The next building to this apartment is Pullman Hotel (used to be Marriott) and their cheapest narrow single room starts from $240, so Peter’s apartment is unbelievably affordable.
    The room is, as Peter described, seriously Picture Perfect. The view of Hyde Park is very impressive and the room itself is kept very nice and clean. I loved the very comfy bed with super clean sheets.
    Hope this room will be vacant when I scheduled my next Sydney visit, or I book air tickets by the availability of this room. Thank you, Peter!!

  • Our four-night stay in this Darlinghurst apartment was truly "picture perfect." To begin with, Peter was able to accommodate our request for an early arrival, which was wonderful after a long plane ride from New York. We opened the door and the first thing we noticed was the beautiful view from the large living room window which gave us an unfettered view of lush Hyde Park and the surrounding city. The apartment was spotless, and even the living room sleep sofa was comfortable. Peter was very accessible by phone and helpful in giving directions and answering our questions. Shopping and restaurants are a short distance away across the park. Public transportation (trains and buses to ferries) is very convenient and close, which is good since public parking in the area is nearly impossible. Paid parking is around $45 AUD per day, so going by bus or train is your best bet.

  • The flat has an amazing view of Sydney on the roof top and is very well furnished. Peter was availble and nice by email and phone (we havent seen him). We were 2 couples to sleep there. Bed and sofa were confortable. The location and jacuzzi/pool are perfect. We will recommend it for sure.

  • Summary: the apartment is wonderfully located, comfortable, and a good value but the building services and maintenance need more attention. The apartment was in a very convenient location and the view of Hyde park across the street was lovely. We walked many places and also found the train and bus to be very convenient and useful. The plentiful windows and good weather allowed us to enjoy the fresh air, although the traffic could be noisy at times (as expected in a city); good to be aware of if you aren't used to that sort of thing. It didn't bother us at all. For sleeping, we were able to enjoy the fresh air and tone down the traffic noises by closing only the bedroom window. The apartment was clean and well maintained. We were unable to get the dryer to dry anything but we found the building laundry facility to be useful. I'm certain if we had called Peter he would have helped, but didn't want to both him for that. It was great to have the wireless and we appreciated being able to keep a few things on hand in the kitchen. Although Peter had confirmed an early check-in, that didn't work out. Although we arrived 30 minutes after the time Peter confirmed, the cleaner told us we had to come back in 40 minutes but allowed us to leave our bags. Peter was very responsive and efficient throughout the transaction and I've since learned from him that the early check-in problem was a mixup due to a staff substitution. Although he hadn't charged for the early check-in, Peter offered us a refund for the mixup, which we found unnecessary. As far as the building and its management, the elevator several times seemed like it wasn't working properly, there were some very basic cleanliness problems, and the front desk staff were both unresponsive to reported building issues and unhelpful. For example, when we inquired about and paid at the front desk for parking, the woman told us that we needed to push a button when we reached the exit door and she would open it. However, when we did that, the door did not open. Luckily, there were two people in the car, so the driver was able to remain while the other person headed back to the elevator and down to the desk to get help but the woman had left. Fortunately, a building resident came along in a few minutes and was able to open the door for us with a key fob he had. Peter is quite aware of the building issues and is working very diligently with the management to address them, as I can imagine other apartment owners may be. I just think it's useful to be aware of these sorts of issues so you won't be surprised by them.

  • I stayed in Peter's lovely apartment for five days in March. As I write this overdue review there is a small version of his advert photo on my screen and as I look at it it just takes me back to a visit full of happy memories. The apartment is everything it says it is and the location is amazing for exploring Sydney and it's history. I found the train very efficient, takes about 6 minutes to walk to Museum Station and about as long to reach Circular Quay once on the train. There again The Quay, Harbour , Opera house , Botanical Gardens are all within easy reach by walking as are Hyde Park Barracks, Parliament House and Australian Museum, to mention a few. The bonus is the view of Hyde Park and the City skyline by night and day. The rooftop pool is a wonderful plus after a day of tramping the streets. I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to Re visit Sydney and cannot recommend it highly enough. I met Peter as I checked in and his greeting and assurance that if I needed anything to call him was very sincere. If you are visiting Sydney look no further Jan Rees U.K.

  • Peter's apartment is located in a very accessible part of Sydney's city centre. It's an easy walk to many of the places my friends and I visited, and a mere 10 minutes away from the shopping district in Pitt and George Street. The apartment itself is comfortable and clean, with a view overlooking Hyde Park and the Sydney's skyline. At night, we like to leave the blinds open to watch the skyscrapers twinkle at night. Traffic can get a little loud but we had no problems sleeping. Bathroom was supplied with everything we needed, and towels and fresh linen were provided too. Just be careful with the lift as the building is a little old so it may jerk a little but no danger. All in all, we enjoyed Peter's apartment very much and if I were to go back to Sydney I'd love to stay here again.
