Wander string-lit canyon trails, pine forests, and a raised boardwalk to the Wisconsin River. Then come back, turn on the fireplace, and let the night slow down.
The space
Your Cabin
Eagle’s Nest is a thoughtfully appointed one-bedroom cabin built around one defining feature: a floor-to-ceiling stone accent wall with a sleek electric fireplace, set directly across from your Queen bed. Warm light. Soft blankets. Nowhere to be.
The bedroom is dressed for couples — with hotel-quality linens, layered blankets, warm sconce lighting, and the fireplace glowing at the foot of the bed. It’s the kind of room you check into and immediately stop checking your phone.
The living area carries the same unhurried energy — a velvet daybed sofa to cuddle on, industrial Edison lighting, cathedral pine ceiling, and a bar-height table for two. The kitchenette is equipped for real meals — breakfast together, a relaxed dinner in, or wine and appetizers before heading to the fire outside. Everything you need. Nothing competing for your attention.
Luxury here isn’t about excess. It’s about warmth, quiet, and time together.

Sandstone Rustic Retreat is a nature-forward, couples-first boutique resort — built for intentional time away, not a commercial crowd.
Across 13 wooded acres: four private cabins, a king suite cottage, and Dells Domes, our signature glamping collection. Spacious by design — peaceful and unhurried even at full occupancy.
At the heart of the property is the Gathering House, available to guests 24hrs, Café-level espresso drinks, flavored coffees, teas, apple cider, and hot chocolate — featuring locally roasted Bella Goose beans and premium syrups. Whole milk and sweet cream provided. Board games, a guitar, fast WiFi, and the essentials you forgot to pack — sunblock to dental floss. Founders often join guests for morning coffee. It’s a Sandstone tradition.
Curated beverage experiences available — Wisconsin Old Fashioneds, regional brews, local favorites — pre-ordered and delivered chilled in a branded cooler at check-in or directly to your cabin. Private bar experiences available with advance notice. Intentional experiences are best planned ahead — message us for details.
Seasonal: Summer weekends bring the No Wake Zone dock bar to life. Winter evenings occasionally feature intimate speakeasy nights in the Gathering House.

The covered outdoor cooking space is built for relaxed camp meals in any season — versatile grilling, comfortable seating, ideal for slow evenings, rainy afternoons, or cooking together without rushing. Propane, firewood, charcoal, utensils, glassware, and dishware provided. Just bring your ingredients.
Don’t worry, we have the late-night snack covered — frozen pizzas, small-batch handmade ice cream, and ice available for purchase on-site. No need to leave.

Just 1.8 miles from downtown Wisconsin Dells and I‑90/94. Minutes from Lake Delton and all the major attractions and restaurants in the area, Mirror Lake State Park and the famous Ishnala Supper Club. Devil’s Lake is a short 15 minute drive.
Close enough for convenience.
Far enough for peace.

The Gathering House (6:00am–12:00am) — morning coffee, fireside conversation, or unwinding at night.
Trails & River Access — pine-lined walking trails, raised sandstone canyon boardwalk, private dock on the Wisconsin River backwaters. Ideal for sunrise coffee, fishing, or quiet time by the water.
Outdoor Spaces — covered deck with gas firepit, green-space wood fire beneath an open sky, grilling station with propane, firewood, charcoal, utensils, glassware, and dish-ware, all provided.
Other things to note
Pet Policy: Eagle’s Nest is not pet-friendly. Traveling with a dog? Two of our cabins welcome well-behaved pups — pets stay free. Check our other listings for availability.
Swimming off the dock is not permitted. The Wisconsin River carries strong currents and unseen hazards beneath the surface.
Summer (June–August) may include select weekend openings of the No Wake Zone dock bar.
Winter (January–April) occasionally features intimate speakeasy evenings in the Gathering House.
Quiet hours observed 11:00pm–8:00am — to preserve the calm that defines Sandstone.
