Cosy and spacious 2-room appartment - 86sqm - at 4th floor in central Copenhagen with a beautiful view over the lakes and the roof tops of the city. Close to Sankt Hans Torv, Blågårdsgade and Nørreport station (train, buses and metro with connection to the airport and central station) and located in the Ryesgade/ Ravnsborggade 'antiquity' street with cool bars and cafees.

The appartment is sunny and cosy, decorated in a mix of scandinavian design and flea marked/ retro furnitures. The appartment consists of one bed room with a 2 persons bed and there can be made 1 or 2 extra beds in the living room - on good mattress. The living room is fully equipped and likewise the kitchen. The rent is including fast wi-fi internet.

The appartment has access (email hidden) court yard area with playground, barbecue area etc and is located next to the central lakes of Copenhagen - perfect for running, walking or people watching.

If you arrive with public transportation it will take you only 5 min by bus from Nørreport station (connected to the airport by train and bus) and the bus stops 10 meters from the appartment. Supermarked located 2 min away. If intersted bikes can be borrowed as well.

  • The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Highly recommendable. We did not get a chance to meet our host, but he was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Everything went smoothly.

  • Nils was nice and everything went smoothly. The house and apartment were really cosy. Maybe this place is not for Bree Van de Kamp, but we hadn't have any problems. The area were relax and its great spot for start tours with bikes. The bikes were not the latest model but the city is easy to discover with bikes although the brakes were not functioning well. The other bike is for tall person. This is just great value for money. I recommend!

  • Nils flat is nicely located close to the coolest shopping streets, cafés and bars in Nørrebro. Kindly with the flat we could borrow two bikes (we had some troubles with them since they weren't in great shape, this could however be fixed by now since Nils seem to be quite a cycling fan) to discover the area.
The flat and equipment was very basic with ex and shower in one as you find in old buildings in Copenhagen, but the open light rooms in black and white have a great view to the lake. On the whole a nice place to stay and great location!

  • Our stay in copenhagen and in Nils' appartment was fantastic! Nils was very welcoming and also very flexible concerning arrival/departure times and giving us the keys. The bikes were great! There is one big bike for men which is in a really good shape, even though it may be to big for people under 1,80m. Then there are two more bikes (for women), that are shurely nothing too fancy but they are both working and just fine to go around the city which we did a lot! The appartment is very large and bright and nicely furbished - we were surprised because it is even nicer than it looks on the fotos! It even has a great view towards one of the lakes and the old city center, which is just a stroll from the apartment. The bathroom really is tiny and the shower is installed just next to the toilet. But we didn't bother. It is clean. Therefor the kitchen is quite big and very well equipped! We enjoyed cooking in it a lot! The neighbourhood seemed safe and the lakes are really beautiful.
Oh yeah, the linen was definitively washed, even though the blanket had an old red wine stain, that we did't mind. But maybe it could be replaced to satisfy the more critical reviewers;)
Another point: The weather was quite cold, so we were very happy to have the sun shining through the windows and a very sufficient heating in every room!
I would definitely recommend this appartment to all of my friends and family - though maybe not to my grandmothers since it is on the third or fourth floor and because of the unconventional shower;) My Girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay a lot.

  • I stayed for two nights in the apartment of Nils. Unfortunately I have to start with the negative reviews. As we arrived at the apartment we waited about half an hour because no one opened, we had been told to ring the bell of a neighbor. When we finally entered the apartment making a turn for home, I immediately noticed that the sheets were already 'been used very unpleasant thing .. honestly. Then we were told that the keys of the bike, map and other information about the copenhagen we found on the kitchen table, on the kitchen table instead, it on other tables there was something for us. We tried a bit 'in the house and in the kitchen we found a box with a lot of keys, after several attempts we found the keys to the bike. True there were three, but all old enough that it can not even adjust the seat too high for me. In fact, I had to rent a bike (150 kkr). We chose this apartment because it gave with the apartment also bicycles.all this made us lose most of the morning : To connect internet via WIFI we had to ask, via SMS, to Nils, who was not in Copenhagen.Nils strange that it was not to know that wifi works only with a light of the room turned on. Regarding the bathroom is very small, and getting by but are still unable to get the shower.Regarding the positive reviews I have to say that the 'apartment is very large and bright with a beautiful living room. It is located in a small building in a very quiet and nice and convenient to the airport and to visit the city.we are very sorry because this is our first experience with a rental apartment, we'll be more 'careful the next time.I hope that this review helpful to Nils to make more 'enjoyable stay in his home.I would add that Nils is still a very kind and helpful, I'm sure if you are staying with him and he will be in Copenhagen quickly find the solution to any problems

  • Beautiful apartment! Ideal location! Wonderful host!

It was almost too easy to locate the apartment after flying into CPH from SEA. We took a straight shot metro from the airport to Nor report and enjoyed a 15 minute stroll through the city center to meet Nils at the apartment. The neighborhood is directly across the bridge from the city center and one block away from "the lakes" which proved ideal for our entire stay in Copenhagen. The area provided the right balance of local and tourist without pricing us out of enjoying ourselves.

The apartment itself was very comfortable. Amenities were very accessible, and adjusting to the time change was a piece of cake thanks to sunrise coffee along "the lake" and afternoon naps in the living room and bedroom. WiFi proved very handy, as did the onsite laundry and fully equipped kitchen (French presse was a life saver!). Also, contrary to some of the other reviews we've seen on here, the tiny shower was actually larger than expected-- it also touted impressive pressure and heat! The provided bikes were the icing on our experience. While they weren't anything too fancy, they were operational and an absolute delight. Nils was even kind enough to drop off another smaller bike (website hidden) fiancé after our arrival.

Hands down, we recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, inviting and convenient apartment in CPH.

  • A beautiful flat in a lovely location but a smelly pillow and ill-fitting bedclothes meant I had to go an purchase something which fitted and was cleaner. The promised woman's bike was poorly maintained and only suitable for someone of 5'10" or over.

When these problems were raised with the host he was hostile.

He tried to insist that an earlier informal comment overrode our airbnb agreement and coerce me (via e-mail late one evening) to leave a day early. When I resisted he became even more rigid and inflexible and demanded I leave the flat by 8am on the last day of the contract. I liked the flat but would not return to this "host".

  • The appreciation is so-so.
We choose the place because the bikes were included. But one of them was not working. The owner adviced us a place to fix it ourselves (waste of time when you are there just for 2 or 3 days) without offering to take the repararation at his charge.
The bed is definitly not for 2 persons and the sheets were not very appealling.
You will like the shower if you are used to sailboat (shower is the toilet) !
Apart from that the main room is great (light, sunny and the furniture is cool), the location is perfect and the handover of the keys worked well.

  • We had the pleasure of renting this beautiful flat a weekend in March. The description and photos don't lie: bright and spacious, lovely area with lots of nice restaurants and bars, the rest of inner city Copenhagen only a step away. Also a cool view overlooking the ponds.

We never had the opportunity of meeting Nils, but he was very accommodating and nice before and throughout our stay. The only reason not to give a full 5 star grade is that the bed was slightly smaller than we expected, but acceptable for a few days.

    I strongly recommend it!
