The home was perfect! Mary wasn't there, however her daughter was and helped us out a lot. Gave us a lot of good tips, and even took us into town so we could go grocery shopping. Beautiful garden as well.
My husband, daughter, friend and myself stayed at this lovely house which is about 3 miles from Kill, Naas during the February mid term break. The house comprised of three very large bedrooms, all en-suite. The living area is open plan with a kitchen and dining table. Mary keeps a very clean house and it is comfy and cosy. We were delighted to have so much room and the bedrooms all had their own T.V. which was great. The swimming pool was out of action during our stay which was disappointing but not the end of the world and Mary had that explained to us before we arrived and graciously offered to cancel or re-book at a later date. Even though it was late winter the gardens and surrounding areas were beautiful. We traveled into Dublin and Wicklow and explored a great deal. Mary is a very friendly and gracious host and is very obliging. I would recommend this holiday home.
What an amazing house!!
Everything was perfect! Better in real than the pictures (mainly for the swimming-pool area). We found everything we needed in the house. My friends and me really enjoyed this week-end in Dublin.
And that also thanks to Mary, a great host!
She explains everything and provides informations like the nearest supermarket and pub.
Hope to Come Back soon!
We stayed at Mary's house for a week end and we were delighted not only by the house but also by how kind of a host she was. She gave us tips about where to take walks, made herself available anytime we asked and even gave us some home grown tomatoes and eggs! Also, the pool was just magic! Don't hesitate!
Mary is a charming and personable hostess. Her B&B is comfortable and accommodating and the breakfasts are hearty with generous portions. One must really watch their waistlines while there. The B&B is what one imagines an Irish B&B to be with a lot of personal items lying about as well as gardens and nooks and craneys outside. One little "secret" about the B&B is that there is an indoor swimming pool if one is so inclined. My friends and I stay up late in the parlor to talk and have a wee dram. This was no bother to Mary and it was a delight when she joined us in conversation. Stay here, you'll enjoy it!
Everything was clean and we had everything we needed.
The room includes private bathroom, kitchen and living room. Pool area is just awesome. Great to expend few days!
Very kind host.
Mary was a great host. From the moment we walked she had tea and biscuits waiting for us. She pointed us to the places in town to eat and drink and even invited us to go hear her play. Her place was beautiful and we wished the weather was better to go outside and explore. Mary was very warm and cheery and provided great hospitality. Breakfast was fabulous. We sat and enjoyed a proper Irish breakfast for a good while before heading out. I would definitely come back again and stay at Mary's.
Great location, right behind the Guinness Storehouse and the flat was also good. We were 3 people and we had no problem. About 5 minute walk to the closest market and bus stop.
What a great place to stay! I was extremely excited about the heated floors which made me want to throw everything on the floor to be heated up. It was incredibly clean and away from the major touristy areas. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Dublin.
Comfortable apartment in a quiet area.
Good chauffage, complete kitchen, and not too long walk to Temple Bar!!
