Abbiamo passato 15 gg n questo bellissimo posto gestito daSukri. Molto disponibile e gentile ci ha aiutato su tutto. che dire provare per credere. grazie ancora da Sara e Maurizio.
I was surprised by how accurate the photos were, and more. The place was beautifully decorated and the accompanied weather was perfect. Sukri and his wife Miho are amazing hosts, exactly the kind of experience I was looking for, getting to know the locals.
It's a very comfortable place to live at, and definitely a place to relax and let go. Can't help but admit that Seminyak has my heart!
In one word: wonderful.
We arrived in the evening at Depensar and we crossed Kuta to reach Sukri's place. He owns two bungalows (including one which is not on the website Airbnb, so if this one is not available, you should contact him..). His house is so peaceful compared to Kuta's crowd. You can rent his scooter for a cheap price and enjoy the left side driving. He lives 10 minutes from the center of Kuta and the main beaches.
His wife made very good breakfast and she gave us some good advices to have lunch and dinner in the city.
I hope to come back again..
Thank you Sukri!
It was a really wonderful place! The house was perfect and Sukri and his wife are wonderful people! We will surely come back, we miss them already!
Please give our regards to Zaky (Jack) :)
Sukri and His wife were exceptionally nice and thoughtful hosts. The Javanese Barn house was an awesome place to crash, It felt like we were staying in the 1930's. Breakfast was good.
The Javanese tradional barn truely is a beautifully decorated homestay, from where you can sit back, relax and enjoy Bali. It's located in a quiet area of Kerobokan. Sukri (the host) and his wife are very helpful and friendly and they gave our stay at Bali a personal touch.
We totally recommend our stay at Balinese Traditional Barn House. This is the place to stay if you want to experience the real Balinese rustic traditional house and be close to nature. Pak Sukri and his wife put a lot of thoughts into the two bungalows the details was amazing! the garden, the furnitures, the bed and breakfast was definitely exceeding our expectation.
Pak Sukri and his wife welcome us with iced-tea drinks when we arrive. The moment you enter Desa Biasa, you are greeted with luscious garden. You can tell that the compound is the labour of love of his family. His wife, Ibu Miho, who was used to own restaurant in Japan, cooked us a hearty breakfast with a really great presentation.
The location is close to the beach and we rent Pak Sukri Scooter for a day and hanging around Seminyak area that are reachable within 15 min with scooter. There's a lot of place to eat out too nearby, so you'll get the best of both worlds! secluded yet close to amenities.
Out of all the places we've been staying at in Bali. Pak Sukri's place is one of my favourite. Not only because of the surrounding, but also Pak Sukri, his wife and his daughter make us feel like home. We spent time chitchatting letting us know what to visit in Bali.
We LOVE our stay in Desa Biasa. It's a great value for the nightly rate we spent, and we would definitely come back here again!
Thank you Pak Sukri and Ibu Miho
