  • This is a great apartment in a fantastic location - perfect for couples or families with 1-2 small children. The apartment is nestled in Trastevere - the most hipster/urban-chic neighbourhood full of amazing cafés and restaurants, and is a 5 minute stroll across the bridge to the main sites. Highly recommend this place to all!

  • Nicely renovated apartment, great communication with the host. unfortunately had heaps of problems with wifi which Laura tried a few times to fix, also no reception in the apartment. We were making phone calls in the street to get reception! The area gets pretty noisy at night which wasn't too much of an issue for us being heavy sleepers after busy days exploring Rome. If communication and internet are not a priority for you, this is a good place to stay, 20min walk to Colosseum and Forum. About 10min to nearest stop of hop on hop off tourist bus. Not close to train station.

  • Laura was a wonderful host. Her apartment was well located and immaculate. We loved Trastevere, close to everything but far enough away from the center of Rome.

  • We stayed in Laura and Luca's beautiful apartment for 3 nights in June. It is great, exactly as seen in the pictures however the best things about this place are the hosts and the area. Luca met us as promised and got us settled quickly. Following this, he gave us a tour of the local area and introduced us to the cafe, restaurant and shop owners which made us feel completely at home and relaxed with the area immediately. Trastevere is fantastic, located right on the river and a short walk to all the main sights - it's such a great place to come back to each evening after exploring the city. There is a big night life and cafe culture in Trastevere and it's not flooded with tourists which is a bonus. We met Laura on our last night there, having drinks with her and Luca - they are lovely people and great to spend time with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their apartment to anyone looking to explore Rome.

  • We stayed for 3 nights in Trastevere. Perfect location, walking distance from everything in Rome, great night life. Wifi is spotty but she is going to be getting a new service. The food in Trastevere is delicious and Laura gives great reccomendations. Laura went above and beyond helping us find a parking spot as we braved driving into Rome. She is a great host. :)
The apartment is lovely and you will not regret staying here!!!

  • Very communicative hosts and apartment was well-appointed. Location is better than most places since it so close to the Ponte Sisto (bridge). You can easily get to a grocery store that stocks everything just across the bridge. Te apratment had everything for our apartment style traveling because we like to eat one meal a day, seeking the specialties of the area (cacio pepe, amatriciana, carbonara and Coda alla Vaccinara) from places that make it best and having veggies with local street food (check out the numerous recommendations on several websites) and local wine. We stayed 7 days and should have called Laura about the wifi failing on the last 2 days. They have a repeater on the second floor and maybe it was a matter of rebooting the modem but I couldn't find it and didn't bother to contact her. There are plenty of free wifi places around that you can get a password from if you patronize them. If I stayed in Trastevere again, I would stay there. (and I have stayed at 3 other places in Trastevere on previous trips to Rome.)

Piatti tipici e ben cucinato. Servizio ottimo
Osteria da massi; via Dante dietro l'angolo.
    Ottima osteria tipica.....
Laura GRAZIE per la disponibilità e l'amicizia.
    A presto speriamo

  • The apartment is tasteful and elegant. It's more beautifully furnished than a high end hotel and an enjoyment to stay in. The location is also smack in the middle of the best neighborhood, dozens of wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Laura is open and friendly. She gave us clear, straightforward, and honest opinions and tips. When we had a minor problem with the internet the first day, she immediately fixed it for us. If you are not comfortable with Italian like we were, Laura also arranges pick up and drop offs, so you will not need to brave the taxi system.

The only thing I wish was different is the noise. On two of our nights here, there were people talking loudly right underneath our window until 2 AM. Because we were light sleepers, we ended up resorting to ear plugs. However, I don't think this is a consistent problem. Plus, if you are a heavy sleeper, then this shouldn't be a problem.

  • Our stay with Laura was our first experience with airbnb and she certainly managed to set the bar for our expectations high. First off, she met us in person and gave us tips and advice. Secondly, the apartment is perfectly located in beautiful Trestevere and to top it all off she and her wonderful husband met us for drinks and made us feel like we were enjoying Italy as locals. We certainly would ( and will) stay in the apartment again and will recommend to our personal friends to do the same. Erin& Jeff (Canada)
