Welcome to our viral Airbnb, celebrated for its stunning modern black exterior and sleek interior! Located in Lincoln, Illinois, this one-of-a-kind octagon home offers a tranquil and peaceful retreat. Embracing the iconic octagon design of the 1800s, it features no square rooms, creating a harmonious and unique flow. Perfect for relaxing or exploring local attractions, this modern masterpiece guarantees an unforgettable stay with unforgettable memories.

The space
The home welcomes you with an inviting foyer and an open-concept living and dining area, complete with a cozy gas log fireplace and French doors. The main floor includes a fully equipped galley kitchen, a comfortable queen bed, a full bathroom, and a spacious laundry/mudroom. Ascend the spiral staircase to a bright master loft with a king bed, cathedral ceilings, skylights, and a private bathroom featuring a double vanity and walk-in shower. An additional queen air mattress with bedding is available for extra guests. With its moody, modern aesthetic and subtle Wednesday Addams-inspired touches, the home offers a perfect blend of elegance and mystery. Outside, enjoy the custom pergola and firepit (firewood not provided, please bring your own).

The house is centrally located on a quiet residential street, about a mile from the historic downtown square. Lincoln, situated along Route 66, holds a unique place in history as the first city named after Abraham Lincoln, who famously christened it with a watermelon in 1853. This charming small town offers plenty of sightseeing and fantastic restaurants. Conveniently located, Lincoln is about 40 minutes from both Springfield and Bloomington, 50 minutes from Peoria, 2 hours from St. Louis, and 2.5 hours from Chicago.
