Room in a bed and breakfast

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Some info has been automatically translated.
Sleep well in the former mangling room, under the protection of traditional clay plastering and old logs. The old idyllic courtyard offers a peaceful atmosphere.
In the past, the village's tablecloths and sheets were bleached in this room. Now, the room, completely renovated using traditional methods, offers an atmospheric and peaceful night's sleep to visitors.
In addition to breakfast, the price includes relaxing saunas in an idyllic, wood-fired yard sauna.

The space
The room has a double bed that can also be separated into two separate beds with prior notice.
There are several bottles of drinking water in the refrigerator and more can be provided on request.
The room price includes a breakfast basket, which is excellent for two. Breakfast always consists of seasonal local products and always includes the hostess's "best bread in the world" baked with sourdough. Breakfast can be enjoyed either in the room or outside on the terrace.
An ecological composting toilet can be found behind the next door (access from outside). In the toilet, hand washing is done with unheated summer water. Although the water is basically clean tap water and therefore drinkable, we still recommend bottled water for drinking, which can be found in the room's refrigerator.

The accommodation includes relaxing saunas in an idyllic, wood-heated yard sauna, just like in the old days of your grandmother! Hot water in the sauna for washing in the tub is available throughout the stay. So, washing is done with bucket water and a camping shower. The time of the sauna shift is flexibly agreed on the spot. Kaffela is not located right next to the sauna, but the quietest sauna times are after 6 pm (Fri, Sat 8 pm) when the café is closed. Possibility to add to the relaxing sauna session, e.g. the services of a trained masseur, ask for more information!

Guest access
The accommodation room and toilet are located inside the courtyard, where café customers do not have access. Next to the room, there is a covered terrace for guests, among other things, an electric grill and a hot plate for guests only. However, guests are also free to use the café's interior (within their opening hours) and the terrace as needed. Similarly, the large lawn area in the front yard is available for summer games, etc.

Other things to note
There's a smoking area outside for smokers. Although it is not in the immediate vicinity of the room, we hope that visitors will use it, because the old courtyard, with its old log buildings, is an invaluable traditional site.
