Contemporary decor with a travel theme -- this is not a stuffy old grandpa cabin! Light and airy with an open floor plan. This vacation rental cabin was used to film the music video "After April Comes May" by Canadian hip-hop artist Ess -- see what made this place the perfect set for a cozy little home in the mountains. You can combine the Little Pines cabin with the Hideaway to sleep up to 11 guests -- the two cabins are right next to each other.

Guest Access

Interaction with Guests

After booking with us, we will send you an info sheet with a key code a week or two before your stay. We live a mile away from the cabin if you need us, but otherwise we will completely leave you to yourselves. Kick off your shoes and relax!

The Neighborhood

The cabin is located in a small neighborhood that is surrounded by mountains and National Forest land. Part of the neighborhood includes the Pacific Crest Estates, beautiful homes for neighborhood walks. But it's also easy to walk right into the national forest land.

Getting around

The cabin is about 2 miles from the village shops and restaurants. Though a long walk, it is a beautiful walk along a pleasant path into town. The cabin also has bikes that you are free to use.

Other Things to Note

Peaceful and cozy, Little Pines is a favorite retreat place for musicians and writers to work their craft or for old friends to gather. It is also set up very well for families. Kids encouraged!

  • This was such a lovely cabin!
I booked this place for my boyfriend and I to go on a writting trip so we could focus on making some music away from the craziness of LA... It was absolutely perfect.
The house is so homey and comfy. Everything you could need was there. Getting to hang around in the hammocks in the backyard was a treat to. And Barbara and ger husband were super sweet! We had an issue with the Internet being to slow to send out files and they were kind enough to bump up the speed for our stay.
Be sure to bring a humidifier if you're not used to the high elevation in the mountains and go get muffins at that bakery in town!!

I'd definitely come back here again. :)

  • Great house in the mountains, lots of room and in winter I can imagine, with the snow, it would be wonderful. Good value, zero dramas, lovely, warm house!

  • We wanted to get away for a short ski trip with the kids, and this was a great alternative to renting a couple of hotel rooms in town. The cabin is decent-sized and well equipped, and it matches the description. Barbara was also available to assist with some questions we had, which was greatly appreciated.
