Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Drumcliffe Farm is located in the in the western foothills of the Cascade Range. This is a working farm where we raise chickens for farm fresh eggs. We maintain a self-service farm stand where locals buy, eggs, and fresh in-season fruit and vegetables from the large garden. A ground floor 1200 sq ft living space provides lodging for up to five overnight guests.

The space
Because Drumcliffe Farm is a small farm, it's easily and safely accessed by guests. Your view to the south is of the Badger Creek valley. We incorporated sustainable land stewardship practices in establishing the farm and still manage the farm today to promote and preserve the flora and fauna that preceded us, and that still reside with us on this land. We invite our guests to visit the entire property and learn how we are rehabilitating old grazing pastures and restoring the land to a natural, sustainable habitat for native plants and animals.

The lodging consists of a comfortable great room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom with laundry facilities, and a kitchen. A good size private covered patio provides an option for outdoor living.

Guest access
In addition to the indoor space and the private patio, guests have access to a large maintained lawn just outside their entrance. They are also encouraged to visit the farm-stand just upstairs from the guest lodging where locals buy farm fresh eggs, and fresh in-season fruit and vegetables from the large garden. Contact the hosts for directions to a maintained trail through the woodlot and riparian area that includes a tributary of Badger Creek.

Other things to note
Drumcliffe Farm is only a short drive from hiking and biking trails on the Mt. Hood National Forest including a few that access both the Salmon - Huckleberry Wilderness and the Mt. Hood Wilderness. Nearby developed recreation sites include golf courses, mountain bike parks, and ski areas.

Besides overnight lodging, guests have utilized this space for small business retreats, meetings, family and friends reunions, artistic or literary get-aways, and simple time-outs.
