Our modern and spacious home is in the best area of Seven Mile Beach!
Walk across the street to feel the sand on your feet.
Shopping centers, coffee shops, Yoga, Gym, restaurants, bars, pools, everything is right next door. We'd love to have you.
We are offering our private Master Suite for your vacation!
(Also made available upon request is another bedroom with a queen sized bed, perfect for the kids or another couple. Please contact for info)
The suite spans the whole lower floor of a 3 floor apartment that is only 3 years old and a stones throw from the middle of the famous Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman island.
Fabulous Ritz Carlton alternative. You will literally save thousands upon thousands of dollars yet have a much more modern and 'homey' abode.
It's pretty amazing.
Step out of the building and within a 1-10 minute wander you can find anything you need.
The building is directly on the bus route, but if you rent a car or scooter, the rentals are next to the airport so when you land you can pick up your car right away.
In the welcome email you will receive when booked, there is a link to an online map with driving directions from the airport so you won't get lost.
Print it out and take it with you for easy access.
The room boasts a queen size bed with a thick memory foam pad for extra snuggly comfort, your own ensuite with not one but TWO showers as well as a bathtub.
There is a large walk in closet/changing room, a small futon that would be great for the kids, coffee table, desk and chair, over sized full length mirror, chest of drawers, wireless high speed unlimited internet access and a flat screen tv with cable or you can hook your laptop up to watch movies in bed if you so desire.
There are two large windows that overlook the greenery of the sizeable marsh that gives privacy between you and the Ritz Carlton.
On the main floor you have access to the fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, blender, panini press, slap chop(!) etc
(there's always a cold breakfast selection for you, and if you have any preferences for your morning routine, just let us know and we'll do our best to have it ready for you)
There is a proper dining area, bar stools along the marble counter, living room with cable television, and laundry area.
If you're lucky the lovely Giselle (temp roomie) will share her amazing Thai cuisine with you one night.. Be warned, it's authentic therefore spicy!
The top floor has another bathroom and 2 bedrooms where your lovely temp roommate lives, as well another spare room made available for kids or another couple. (inquire for availability)
Your roommate works a LOT so they may rarely be seen, please be conscious that they could be home and asleep so when using the kitchen etc don't be experimenting with our pots and pans to see which one has the best rhythm.
Your room is on the first floor and the others are on the third so when you're 'home' it's not as if you have to be hushed the whole time. It's your home too.
You will have a lot of privacy all week long and a better chance of seeing a friendly face on the weekends.
There are a number of bath or beach towels for you to use, TONS of pillows, extra blankets and sheets.. So save room in your luggage for bikinis and swim trunks.
On the island you will find many occasions to wear your both your beach gear as well as your Armani suits/6 inch heels (and if they're at the same time? That's totally ok with us)
Upon your arrival you are provided with a local prepaid cellphone should you need it.
The building has security features, covered parking for your rental car, elevator and FOB entrance. Your room also has its own lock and key. Check out is 11am.. which is negotiable if need be, everything is negotiable really.
We're very easy going people who are travellers as well so totally understand the stresses that can come with it and will do anything we can to help alleviate said stress.
The area is as safe as can be, having the Ritz Carlton right next door is a testament to that.
If you want to snorkel there's gear there you can use, if you'd like to picnic there is a cooler. If you'd like to rent waverunners, or kitesurf, Kayak, go with a guide Deep Sea fishing or maybe have an intimate sunset sail dinner on a Yacht?
I've got a number for that.
Not just business contacts, but FRIENDS so you are sure to be treated as one of our own and shown the time of your life.
If you have questions about things, we're happy to help.
There is a TON of information in the welcome email though, from best dive shops to cheapest happy hour specials at the best beach bars.
-No extra hidden Fees & Charges
-Free Snorkel gear (4 different sizes)
-Picnic beach gear to use anytime you want:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PLACE:
Q: Is it near the bus?
A: You won't find a home closer to the bus—literally stops in front of the building.
Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: Yes. But once in the apartment there are stairs that you go down to get to your suite.
Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Extraordinarily. Security guards do patrols around the area.
Q: Do I need to bring towels, soap or linens?
A: Nope! I provide all these things. Same with toiletries (unless I happen to be out, which is rare).
Q: If I need to do laundry, can I?
A: Absolutely, there is laundry soap there to use and it's for sensitive skin, just in case. Plus some dryer sheets if you're not so sensitive and want to smell pretty.
Q: What does "Flexible" check-in/-out time mean?
A: I will try to accomodate your check-in or check-out, no matter what time it is.
Note that early check ins are not always possible if I have a guest leaving that morning, as I need to allow them to check out and prepare the room for you. However, I can usually allow you to drop off luggage, and the room will usually be ready by noon or 1pm at the very latest. If you have a late flight, you are welcome to leave your luggage until it leaves. Late check-ins, even ones at 2am, are no problem at all (I promise you won't be bothering me).
Q: Will I have a key? Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes and yes. And I wouldn't trust any Airbnb listing with which this isn't the case.
Q: I see I'm renting a "Private Room". How much privacy do I have?
A: An insane amount. Your roomies sleep on a separate floor that is 2 floors up, with a separate bathroom. You won't keep me awake, nor will you ever need to tip-toe around late at night. Basically: You have all the privacy of a private apartment, but a great guide handy.
Q: Will I see you?
A: Only if you want to! If you'd rather we didn't exist, we understand. If you want to talk about your trip and getting the most out of the island, we're happy to (assuming we're not slammed with work)!
Q: Do I have a private bathroom?
A: A ridiculously large one. All to yourself.
As well, another bathroom on the main floor you can use.
Q: What's my total booking price?
A: Don't ask me, as I have no idea. With fees included, Airbnb only shows you how much you pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates.
Q: Can I cook/use the kitchen?
A: Definitely! You have a space in the fridge just for you. Cupboards too!
Q: The pictures look pretty over the top. Is that how the place really looks?
A: Yes. In fact, the space is actually quite a bit larger than can be seen in the photos. It's a 45 second walk across the street to the beach with a crossing signal directly outside the building.
Q: Is the bed comfortable?
A: Very. Unbelievably. Memory foam. Also, it's professionally cleaned on a regular basis.
Now that is about it.
We are opening our home to respectful people who acknowledge that we are living our daily lives i.e. early morning rise for work. This island is just too amazing to let our space go to waste and I absolutely live to encourage travel and experience for all!
You must be friendly. That is a rule.
Multi national friendly and gay friendly.
You must also love the beach. That is a rule.

If you live somewhere amazing, we could work something out.
Back in cold & grey Boston, but still riding high on our island glow! Many thanks to Rhiannon, Giselle & Caroline for their warm hospitality. They have created a very reasonably priced island getaway that offers the comfort and luxury of a high end hotel room, along with the geographic convenience of a seven mile beach resort! The beach really is just a two minute walk away! The room is completely private from the rest of the condo with a luxurious bathroom and a very comfortable memory foam mattress bed. When we did run into the roommates, they were extremely kind, pleasant, and eager to answer any questions/make recommendations - almost like running into old friends at the supermarket : ). Although Rhiannon was out of the country during our visit, she was available at a moment’s notice via email (very fast wifi at the apt!), and was consistent in her loyal helpfulness from booking to departure. Any question we could possibly have, she would answer in detail with cheer and grace. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a world class vacation.
The flat is exactly as advertised - the master suite taking up one entire floor of a condo. Checking in was easy enough - I met Rhiannon's friend and she had the keys for us. The location is convenient right on West Bay Road (across from Seven Mile Beach). The covered parking was nice to have otherwise the car gets real hot.
Very nice location in a condo building that has commercial tenants on the ground floor. The apt is located on the third floor, is a triplex with the living room, dining room, and kitchen with bathroom on the main floor with the rental on the lower floor and the tenant living on the top floor. Main floor is nice to have so you can have breakfast and lunch there. Overall a tidy apt. We were very comfortable.
Mind you I say this in spite of the fact it rained 4 out of our 7 days and one of us (me) was knocked flat by a hideous upper respiratory infection on day 1. Rhiannon was off island but the wonderful Giselle and Caroline were there to welcome us. Giselle was incredibly kind, caring and generous, helping doctor some chicken soup with Siracha and feeding us outstanding home cooked Thai meals that made is feel so welcomed. We always looked forward to ending our days laughing and chatting with them. Can't say enough nice things about these wonderful folks.
Rhiannon & Caroline were also invaluable fonts of useful guidance. Because of them we avoided the "ripoffs" & still managed to enjoy much GC has to offer on our 3 good days.
Rhiannon - who handles the AirBNB bookings is seriously buttoned up. She made sure we arrived well informed and well prepared, with no glitches.
When we first arrived we were a little worried that the flat might not be as ideally located as expected. But we quickly realized that our concern was for naught & we enjoyed all of the gorgeous beaches and amenities of GC without compromise. The flat in general and our suite specifically was well cared for, very clean, comfortable and modern. Especially (unfortunately) the bed. All the gear they make available to borrow was indeed there and in fine condition.
Would we stay there again?
Would we recommend to a friend?
Only the very nicest ones.
Amazing! Just came back from a fabulous getaway in Grand Cayman and loved every second at Rhiannon's place. Clean, super spacious, incredible atmosphere, great hosts, and good location. And Rhiannon thought about EVERYTHING - basically anything you need or want, this place has. Beach wasn't as close as we expected, but is still near. Would absolutely come back anytime!
I couldn't be happier with the location and the place. Rhiannon's friend provide us with the keys and was extremely nice, Enjoyed that everything was walking distance and the beach it's just amazing. Overall experience was fantastic and I am normally NOT easy on compliments. I would definitely go back and strongly recommend this place.
A-ma-zing! Man you have got to love this place. Giselle the point of contact is wonderful. She looked after me and it was a home away from home. Would I stay again, without a doubt. Would I recommend, hell yes. Do I wish I lived there? Sure thing. If you can get this place book it. You will not be disappointed.
Rhiannon's place couldn't have been any better. It was exactly as listed with huge private room, large shower and separate tub, and a walk-in closet. The roommate Giselle was super sweet and very helpful. Despite being slightly under the weather, Giselle treated us to her famous authentic Thai cuisine on our first night. We were located right within 7 mile road and literally next door to the Ritz Carlton which we visited on our first night for their $7 happy hour at the aptly named Seven bar. Coincidentally we visited during pirates week. Definitely a fun time to visit and enjoy the local culture and festivities. from the apt, the buses get you to most places for $2 CI or you can take a taxi for more money. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend Rhiannon's place to anyone visiting.
Best location in the island, amazing & accommodating hosts and gorgeous massive suite just as described!! Will definitely be back! :)
Unfortunately we did not have the chance to meet Rhiannon, but Giselle, her roommate, welcomed us in the greatest possible manner. There is a seriously chill vibe on Grand Cayman, and Rhiannon and Giselle are not the exception. The accommodations are great, right across the street from super expensive hotels at a fraction of the price. There is a lot of things provided to you once you arrive, they give you a bunch of towels, there is a local cellphone may you need it, snorkeling gear, heck there is even an underwater camera in one of the cabinets and you're free to use it! Coolers (small and big), beach chairs, cereal every morning... We felt this was a very complete yet inexpensive way of visiting what's known to be an expensive place. I'd recommend also renting a car, there is a covered garage to park it. If you are a scuba diver like us, you can drive all over the island and find places to shore dive for as cheap as 15 bucks a person.
We greatly recommend staying with Rhiannon and Giselle. They are honest people that will try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Would I come back? YES!
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
