Our modern and spacious home is in the best area of Seven Mile Beach!
Walk across the street to feel the sand on your feet.
Shopping centers, coffee shops, Yoga, Gym, restaurants, bars, pools, everything is right next door. We'd love to have you.
Click the pic to see the rest of the photos! This is the main floor with bathroom #2, the 3rd floor above has 2 bedrooms w/bathroom #3, and your room with the biggest bathroom of all is on the ENTIRE 1st floor.
Available only during select periods throughout the year, we offer the Master Suite of our spacious condo in the center of the famous Seven Mile Beach strip bordering the Caribbean Sea.
Located next door to the Ritz Carlton Hotel which holds celebrity chef Eric Riperts acclaimed Restaurant 'Blue', we offer a room in our home with surrounding Hotels and Condos collecting thousands per night for a comparable space.
You don't get room service, breakfast served or have your bed made for you, but still, it's pretty dang amazing.
The important distinction:
This is not a business, this is our home.
The suite, which is immediately across the street from the beach, spans the entire first floor of the 1500sq ft, 3 floor condo.
The space is only made available for the duration of my own travels off island- and only listed a maximum of 2 months in advance.
It tends to fill up as soon as we make the dates available, so we recommend saving us to your favorites so you can keep an eye out for new openings.
The room boasts a queen size bed with a thick memory foam pad for extra snuggly comfort, your own ensuite with not one but TWO showers as well as a bathtub.
There is a large walk in closet/changing room, a futon that would be great for the kids, coffee table, desk, over sized full length mirror, chest of drawers, high speed unlimited WiFi and a flat screen tv with cable -or you can even hook your laptop up to watch movies in bed if you so desire.
There are two large windows that overlook the greenery of the sizeable marsh that gives privacy between you and the Ritz Carlton.
There is no beach view from the flat, but hey, there's also no thousand dollar price tag. ;)
On the main floor you have access to the fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, blender, panini press, slap chop(!) etc
There is a proper dining area, bar stools along the marble counter, living room with cable television, and laundry area.
There are a number of bath or beach towels for you to use, pillows, extra blankets and sheets, so save room in your luggage for bikinis and swim trunks.
On the island you will find many occasions to wear your both your beach gear as well as your Armani suits/6 inch heels.
(and if they're at the same time? That's totally ok with us)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Is it near the bus?
A: You won't find a home closer to the bus—literally stops in front of the building.
Q: Does said bus go to the airport?
A: No, but we provide you with detailed Taxi/Driving directions. We'd pick you up, but we have no need for a vehicle since we're so central to everything.
--We do have a bike, but how could we carry your luggage with you on the handlebars??
(Open to suggestions)
Q: Is there air conditioning?
A: Yes. Absolutely. As well as ceiling fans.
Q: Can I cook/use the kitchen?
A: Our home is your home.
Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: There are security guards that do patrols around the area. We're surrounded by the biggest, most expensive hotels & resorts so we piggyback their safety.
We also have amazing neighbors who look out for each other.
Q: Will I have a key? Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes and yes. I wouldn't trust anywhere in which this isn't the case.
Q: I see I'm renting a "Private Room". How much privacy do I have?
A: An insane amount. Your 2 roomies sleep on a separate floor that is 2 floors up, with their own private bathroom.
You won't keep them awake, nor will you ever need to tip-toe around late at night.
*Your room has a lock.
*With blackout curtains
Q: Will I see you?
A: Only if you want to! If you'd rather we didn't exist, we understand. If you want to talk about your day and getting the most out of the island, we're happy to (assuming we're not slammed with work)!
Q: Do I have a private bathroom?
A: A ridiculously large one. All to yourself.
As well, another bathroom on the main floor you can use.
Q: Is the bed comfortable?
A: Very. Unbelievably. Memory foam.
Also, it's professionally cleaned on a regular basis with Green allergen friendly soaps.
Q: The pictures look pretty over the top. Is that how the place really looks?
A: Yes. In fact, the space is actually quite a bit larger than can be seen in the photos. The pictures don't do it justice.
Q: If I need to do laundry, can I?
A: Absolutely, there is laundry soap there to use and it's for sensitive skin, just in case.
Plus some dryer sheets if you're not so sensitive and want to smell pretty.
Q: Is there a dishwasher?
(Ok, noone has ever asked this question, but I have had complaints - seriously)
A: Yes, there is a dishwasher, but no, it is not used.
We try to be as green as possible, and running a dishwasher isn't a necessity, so you are asked to clean up after yourself ie. do your own dishes.
If you are seeking a fully pampered vacation, we suggest one of the hotels next door.
Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: Yes. But once in the apartment there are stairs that you go down to get to your suite so it's not suitable for anyone who can't manage stairs.
Q: What's my total booking price?
A: Not a clue. With fees included, Airbnb only shows you how much you pay.
This figure should be present after you enter your dates.
Airbnb has great customer support so if you run into any pickles, they are easy to contact and extremely knowledgable.
Now that is about it.
We choose to open our home to like-minded souls of the 99% who might not otherwise be able to experience the luxury lifestyle of Grand Cayman, and since we're so grateful for the amazing location and surroundings, we just have to share!
You must be friendly. That is a rule.

Interaction with Guests
Your roommates work a LOT so they may rarely be seen, please be conscious that they could be home and asleep so when using the kitchen etc don't be experimenting with the pots and pans to see which one has the best rhythm.
Your room is on the first floor and the others are on the third so when you're 'home' it's not as if you have to be hushed the whole time. It's your home too.
You will have a lot of privacy all week long and a better chance of seeing a friendly face on the weekends.
Step out of the building and within a 1-10 minute wander you can find anything you need.

You're also directly on the bus route that will take you pretty much everywhere else. You can easily go to the Dolphin/Turtle places in Westbay, the shops in Georgetown, the breathtaking Camana Bay area and more, all without having to switch buses.
Feel free to snicker in the general direction of the Condos and Hotels around you while you walk past, as you'll be saving thousands upon thousands of dollars for a newer, modernly furnished space right beside them.
There are roped off areas in their immediate 'front yards' for guests and the rest of the beach is public.
There are a few spots nearby that rent beach chairs and umbrellas, and all sorts of water sports toys. Just take a wander in either direction along the beach.
We are a 10 min drive or $25 taxi ride from the airport.
The building is directly on the bus route, but if you rent a car or scooter, the rentals are next to the airport so when you land you can pick up your car right away.
In the welcome email you will receive when booked, there is a link to a detailed map with step by step arrival instructions from the airport so you won't get lost.
Included are pictures of the apartment, both during the day and at night.
You can print it out and take it with you for easy access.
Be mindful that your 'roommates' are going about their daily lives, ie. early morning rise to work, so please be respectful of working hours, keep general cleanliness after yourself, wash the dishes you use etc and no breaking of anything.
As well, please be quiet while in the hall as to respect our neighbors, they're all amazing and the doors aren't as thick as we'd like.
Keep your voices low as they carry surprisingly far.
No partying, no drugs or smoking.
(If you're a smoker, you must go down the stairs and away from the building - there is no smoking allowed near any of the entrances - this is enforced.)
Make sure to lock the door behind you at all times, we're conscientious about our safety.
Just pretend you live with your mother or inlaws and you should be ok.
Great apartment great location! Everything was just as described and super clean and comfy. Her roommates are very nice and logistics went seamlessly. Highly recommend....great location with a lot of stores nearby.
We just came back from a 5 night stay with Rhiannon. Apartment is great and really well located. We had a rental car which was useful however it is okay if you decide not to keep one. Ritz is a quick walk and so is the westin. Hotels being as expensive and they are in Seven mile-this is definitely a great alternative! We were happy we chose this over spending $$$ at one of the hotels. Ton of privacy as your room will be on a different floor. Definitely recommend!
The room was as it was described, close to the beach, private, spacious! Everyone was very helpful, with activities and dining! Great experience!
Rhiannon and Giselle were SUPERB hosts - they were so kind and generous, the suite is spacious and private, and the location of their apartment could not be MORE ideal. If you are thinking about booking this, absolutely GO FOR IT!
We stayed in Rhiannon's place for a week and had a dream vacation - the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the apartment is within easy walking distance to the best beaches in Grand Cayman (literally less than five minutes!), and tons of phenomenal restaurants and activities. There is a lovely vegan cafe across from the apartment, and a huge grocery store right around the corner. The apartment itself is very secure, and the room feels very private just as the other reviews have described. The check-in process was also seamless, and everything was immaculate when we arrived. Both Rhiannon and Giselle are impressively responsive and helpful in their advice and suggestions!
You cannot go wrong - I would choose this listing over a hotel any day!! Rhiannon and Giselle, thank you so very much. I can't wait to come back to Grand Cayman!!
Fantastic Experience. Located in the heart of 7 mile beach in a nice community close to everything! The condo was clean and spacious and felt like home. Much better than any hotel room could provide. The information that Rhiannon provides on what to do and see on the island was also invaluable. She provides the local scoop on everything.
Very nice stay at Ritz Condo. Giselle welcomed me very well and gave me good advice. The accomodation itself is on exelent location, you will have all you need in three min walking: sea, shops, ATM, restourants ... The bed is really outstanding !
Thank you !

Canadian female living in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
I have a hard time deciding what to put in these 'About me' sections, so instead of boring drivel about my job at the Ritz Carlton or my affinity for website design, I've gathered a few famous quotes that speak to me..
“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
“Not all those who wander are lost.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien
“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
― Mark Twain
“Now more than ever do I realize that I will never be content with a sedentary life, that I will always be haunted by thoughts of a sun-drenched elsewhere.”
“But that's the glory of foreign travel, as far as I am concerned. I don't want to know what people are talking about. I can't think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything. Suddenly you are five years old again. You can't read anything, you have only the most rudimentary sense of how things work, you can't even reliably cross a street without endangering your life. Your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses.”
― Bill Bryson, Neither Here Nor There: Travels in Europe
