  • The location was amazing and even better than we expected!! There was a beautiful courtyard and top front deck that we loved lounging on! Laurie was a great host! She called me and made sure I had everything on the day of check-in and provided a bunch of great suggestions.

This is my 10th time to Savannah and this was the best deal for the money and I can't imagine a better location for a rental house!

  • Great place in a great town. The house is so well decorated and kept. While I didn't spend a great deal of time at the house, it had everything we needed and more.

Only one downside during our stay: the first floor tended to be quite a bit colder than the second floor, to the point that people sleeping downstairs were cold and people upstairs were hot. Granted, this was in late February. Also, the rear parking should really only be for one vehicle.

    Would definitely stay here again.

  • This house was in a great location and (for the most part) we had everything we needed. I only knock one star off because I contacted Laurie about a very smelly comforter in the master bedroom (we couldn't wash the terrible smell out) and she never replied to me. We found NO extra blankets, which made our last few nights a little chilly. I found it odd because otherwise Laurie was VERY communicative and helpful.
That being said, I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this place to others.

  • Stayed here during the Savannah Jazz Festival and had a great experience with my 2 parents. A bit of a walk to the river where the main action is but it's a beautiful home and right next to the park. House had everything we needed -- it was nice having the cooler and beach chairs to borrow for concerts at the park! Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone visiting the city whether for a couples weekend or a group of friends exploring Savannah.

    Thanks Laurie!

  • The house is in a good location and very cute, plenty of space. This stay could have easily been perfect except for a few things. There was a dirty sock on the hand rail when we arrived and dirty hand prints on the third bedroom wall. The parking spot was great but had loose trash that needed picking up. The bamboo in the courtyard was attractive but made walking in difficult. No hand towels in the upstairs bathroom. The master bedroom power outlets did not work. I am a CPAP user and I need power so I moved to the third bedroom where I discovered no top sheet on the bed. There was not enough hot water for a good shower. With the exception of the not working outlets which I am attributing to an older house most of these issues could be resolved with better attention to detail to make sure the house and parking area is clean and ready for guests. The house is really in a good location and lives up to the pictures. It was good but could have been great.

  • Great location, two minute walk to the park and twenty minute walk to River Street. Clean and comfortable condo. Laurie was a great host and everything was perfect.

  • Super cute and close to Forsyth Park. Cool AC and great areas to relax in back. Thanks Laurie!

  • We (4 single adults) had a wonderful stay at Laurie's townhome on Duffy (5 nights in all). Everything was exactly as described and pictured. And there was plenty of room for all four of us. There was also everything you needed already furnished in the house...plenty of towels, plates, cups, coffee maker, gas range (that worked awesome), oven, clean sheets, etc. Krogers grocery is right around the corner. One night we even ended up at an art gallery party down across the street and purchased art! Definitely excitement around most corners. The only downfall is the neighborhood. It borders on a tougher area and at times we didn't feel comfortable with a FEW of the people that were walking around. Of course, it should be noted we actually experienced only one strange and uncomfortable interaction. Overall a GREAT experience and stay. Honestly I thought of giving it less stars because of this but it truly is an excellent value for Savannah. We would have no problem staying here again.

And by the way....Laurie (property manager) is very responsive and easy to deal with. We had no problem getting in the house and nothing but positive things to say about the property condition.
