Marrakech was an experience Linda and I will never forget. We always felt on edge, however our welcome at Riad 107 was always the same - relaxed, positive, pleasant and a welcome haven only minutes from the unique electricity of Jemaa El Fna.
Mohammed, Abdel and the wonderful ladies who quietly made the beautiful fresh, homemade breakfasts and kept the place so comfortable are a well-oiled machine.
Make no mistake, every time you thread your way through the questionable alleyways back to the Riad you will wonder whether you have made the right decision, however as soon as you open the door you know you did.
Thanks, Leila for putting together such a quality experience of Marrakech.
Greetings from Denis and Linda from Bonnie Scotland.
A beautiful place to relax indeed ! A small haven of calm hidden in the maze of the Medina! Excellent location, very quiet and clean! Lovely staff, welcoming, caring, attentive and very helpful! We loved our stay in Marrakech! Yummy breakfast in the morning served outdoors or inside depending on the weather ! Small and cosy bedroom with everything you need for a short stay. Safe airport transfer arranged. Abdel, the manager, also arranged a excursion for us and we absolutely loved it ! We would definitely recommend it !
We spent two days at the riad. The location is good as it is right in the middle of the Medina. However, it is quite hard to locate especially at night time and there are dodgy people walking around. It is best to remember the route back carefully.
We enjoyed our stay very much. They have staff taking us right at the airport. The home keeper and all staff are really nice. When we asked for an early breakfast they also arranged perfectly. They are all really helpful and one of the nicest we met in Marrakech. We had one dinner at the Riad. It was really delicious and up to restaurant standard, plus you don't need to walk around, just stay in and enjoy. Highly recommend spending one night in!
One of the best B&B! Thanks to all the staff.
Une très belle adresse au cœur de la Médina. Un accueil discret et prévenant.
Une décoration superbe. L'endroit idéal pour passer quelques jours au soleil.
We booked a family room for one night with our two daughters :
3 years old and 28 months. The staff was helpful and welcoming but the family room is small and with a baby cot bed you don't know where to put suitcases.
Our stay in the riad was wonderful. My friend and I stayed here for three nights, and began every day with a delicious included breakfast. The staff was very attentive and helpful; offering suggestions on restaurants and arranging an airport transfer. We also booked an excursion through them as well with a hike near the Atlas Mountains and a delicious tajine lunch. The riad is peaceful even though it is right in the heart of the medina, and is fairly easy to locate. We also had dinner prepared for us one night at the riad and it was arguably one of the best meals we had in Morocco. I would stay here again instantly if I return to Marrakesh.
Central Riad Marrakech Medina was great!
Didn't get a chance to meet Leila but Mohamed, the on property manager, was always around and very attentive.
The riad is very beautiful. If you can, get the Ambre room. It has a queen bed and then a loft bed above the bathroom. It's a pretty cool set up.
The location is very central to everything you'll want to be around. The riad offers a transfer from RAK and I would absolutely suggest taking advantage of it. The price is low and you can trust the drivers (having people you can trust in Marrakech is worth more than the money in your pocket).
Also, if you're around long order from the menu. I had the chicken tagine and my only regret is that I didn't order it every night I stayed. Everything is made in house but you should give them a 24 hour heads up of what you'd like so they can go to the market and pick up the ingredients. (It's pretty amazing).
