  • A peaceful haven in the centre of the medina. Friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for 3 nights then hired a car and drove up to the high Atlas Mountains. Hope to be back soon!

  • This was a really cute little place right in the Medina. It was very comfortable and we loved it. It couldn't have been more convenient to the area. It can be a bit tricky getting around so its good to be so close and have a little map on hand to find your way back through the little lane ways. Its a good idea to them arrange a car to get from the airport or train station as you have to access the last bit on foot and the people at the b&b will come to meet you. The breakfasts were good and they were very helpful in arranging a car to get back to airport. Would definitely recommend this one.

  • We had a very relaxing stay at the riad. It has a very central location in the medina, and after returning from all the nervous streets and places, we could relax in this beautiful and clean house. Abdel and his staff were very friendly and professional!

  • We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Riad in Marrakech and would highly recommend it. The breakfast on the sunny terrace was delicious and Abdel and the lovely cook made our stay very comfortable. We hope to come back one day!

  • Abel, the riad manager, was absolutely wonderful-- a huge help--and the riad was lovely and quiet. It's true it's hard to find, but if you spend any time in any of the medinas of Morocco, you will realize all the riads are hard to find. If you are concerned about finding it, I recommend you spend the extra dirham and have the riad set up an airport ride for you. Definitely stay here.

  • We'd not met Leah, but we did interact with Abdel. Abdel is an excellent, efficient, hard working host. From his tea pouring to his general knowledge of the area, we had a great time staying here. The rooms themselves are gorgeous. Water in the shower is hot (a huge plus for me). Bathtub isn't necessarily included (I think it might be solely for the in-house hammam experience), and the jacuzzi doesn't seem to be a year round feature. Breakfast is tasty and included, and laundry can be done here for a nominal fee. The rooms are extremely clean; they clean everything every morning to great effect.

    Response from Leah:

It is not easy to navigate the Medina especially first time arriving. It was a pleasure to have you stay in anycase.

  • Abdel made our stay an excellent one, from arranging for a doctor when my boyfriend was sick, to picking up his medications, to arranging airport transport, to making excellent restaurant suggestions. The young women who work at the riad are also very kind and their breakfasts are a thing of beauty. The riad itself is lovely, clean and comfortable, as well as being convenient to the main square of the medina. If you need prompt and helpful communication, I recommend emailing with Abdel. This is a wonderful place to stay.

  • The Riad was a unique experience and we were glad to stay in the section of town for our first trip to Marrakech. Abdel was a very helpful host with lining up airport transports and a day-trip excursion to Berber village. We were not told about the length of walk (18km) during the day trip, so we didn't plan for appropriate shoes, so be advised to bring comfortable shoes if you want to explore outside the city. Abdel was only at the Riad during the morning and evenings, so make sure to plan ahead with him, as he needs 24 hours for excursion bookings and treatment (massage, hammam, etc.). The included breakfast was good and it was nice to eat on the rooftop terrace in the sun. Noise travels in the small Riad building, so if you are a light sleeper and there are other guests coming and going, I'd suggest you plan ahead, but we weren't too bothered by that. Overall, the Riad gave us a great experience in Morocco and Abdel was a great host.

Siempre estuvo atento a nuestras peticiones y preguntas.
I hardly recommend this Riad! It is very well located in the Medina, about 5 minutes from the square Jma El Fna Square and very close to a very secure parking where we left our car. When we were there Leah was not in the Riad but Abdel took care of everything and was a perfect host. He came to pick us up at the mosque Qoutubia to show the way to Riad, took to the parking, gave us a map and pointed out the most important places to visit. He was always attentive to our requests and questions. The Riad is as you can see in the photos, very nice and cozy, very clean and keeps the original structure of the houses in the medina. At the top there is a beautiful terrace with tables and chairs where breakfast is served. Breakfast was very good with typical products of Morocco, and it was a pleasure to enjoy on the terrace in the morning. The truth is that this Riad was much better than we expected, so if I return to Marrakech will not hesitate to come back to this Riad!

About
I'm Leah originally from Australia I lived for 14 years in Florence, Italy where I still have active contacts. For the past year I have lived in Marrakech, Morocco a vibrant town pulsating in exotic sounds and sites. I love living here; the people, the food, the landscape, the religion, the architecture and the music... Travel expands our life experience, paradoxically encountering people and places out of our daily routines and comfort zones increases understanding of ourselves and those close to us...
