There is an open courtyard in the center of the house where you can lounge among the palm tree's . Listen to the birds singing in the morning .
The Riad is a quite refuge from the bustling city .

Your stay can include wandering the medina , shopping and looking at sites . We can help guide you during your stay with us if you like .
Marrakech is fabulous by night with many great nearby restaurants and clubs .
We are a 10 minute walk from the main square jemma el fna .The place remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists. During the day it is predominantly occupied by orange juice stalls, water sellers in colourful costumes with traditional leather water-bags and brass cups, and snake charmers who will pose for photographs for tourists.
As the day progresses, the entertainment on offer changes: the snake charmers depart, and late in the day the square becomes more crowded, with Chleuh dancing-boys (it would be against custom for girls to provide such entertainment), story-tellers (telling their tales in Berber or Arabic, to an audience of appreciative locals), magicians, and peddlers of traditional medicines. As darkness falls, the square fills with dozens of food-stalls as the number of people on the square peaks. Its a sight to see and a great experience .

The 300 year old Riad is decorated with typical moroccan decor with loads of style . We can arrange day trips to nearby sites such as essaouria ( a small fishing village , or ourkika ( mountain get away )..
We are easy to find in the medina and you can catch taxis nearby. we are close to all sites well situated in the medina .
With my personal knowlege of living in the medina of Marakech i can help for a very comfortable and fantastic stay for you and your family or friends .

The location was very good and central but also in a quiet place. Hassan and his brother Eyup were really helpful for our questions. The breakfast was also good enough I just don't like the bed which was so soft for me to have a good sleep.

Hassan and his wife Mirjam were incredibly hospitable to us and helpful in suggesting things for us to do. Hassan was nice enough to cook us dinner one night and Mirjam even had a car to pick us up from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a great touch also. I had some reservations traveling to Morocco but Hassan and Mirjam did everything to make me feel at home.

Staying with Hassan was one of the reasons my stay in Marrakech was so enjoyable. I don't think it would have been the same if I stayed elsewhere. They were extremely helpful when it came to advising on where to go and what to do. Overall I felt very safe and well looked after the entire time. I highly recommend this Riad to all my traveller friends and hope to come back oneday myself.

Welcome to Riad Naya.
My name is Hassan and I am 26 from the south of Morocco.
I run this traditional Riad in Marrakech as my home as well as welcoming guests and friends throughout the year. I have been working in the tourism industry in Morocco since I was a young teenager and I would be only too happy to show you around Marrakech and suggest sites of interest as well as propose tours across Morocco. Marrakech is a very dynamic and exciting city and there are lots of sights and sounds to experience - Djma el Fna {the famous square), restaurants, bars, nightclubs - but our Riad is also a great place to base yourself and relax. I am happy to cook for you or you can use our facilities. I can show you traditional methods of cooking and perhaps you can prepare a 'tagine'!!!
For me, the great thing about Marrakech is to sit in a cafe and smoke apple flavoured shiisha {just tobacco) ane watch the world go by - the snake charmers, the orange sellers, the dancing monkeys and all the unique Moroccan activities! I really enjoy living in Marrakech and think it is a safe and cosmopolitan city. I would be happy to recommend restaurants to you that will suit your budget and tastes and show you my favourite bars and hangouts. Also, if you are travelling with children I can suggest some child friendly activities that will be a big hit with the kids!!!
AirBnB has asked me to describe myself - so here is a quick Question and Answer that might give you just a little insight into me--
Fav travel destination outside Morocco? Venice and Australia.
Fav food? I love Cous Cous with chicken and anything crazily spicy. I like to cook and my friends say my best dish is my tagine with chillis....
Fav movies? I love the drama of Bollywood films. I am a crazy movie buff though - just try to name a movie I havent seen!!!!!
Music? My best friend says I have the musical taste of a 13yr old American girl lol... she means that I like pop music from JLO and Shakira and Mariah Carey. But I also love RNB and HIP HOP as well as Spanish music and traditional RAI -meaning opinion music - from Algeria.....
Sport? Well of course football FC BARCELONA!!!! but I love going to the beach too.
Does that answer any of your questions??
I look forward to answering any more of your questions via email and hopefully meeting you.
Yours sincerely,
Hassan Bouchadour
