  • Great apartment for a group - pretty big by HK standards. Perfect for HK Sevens as you can walk to the stadium. Good location along Wanchai/CWB border. Sally was very accomodating and allowed us to check out very late on our last day. Highly recommended.

  • We were a group of young people here to spend the weekend

Pros: Nice apt, quite clean, good location, the check in/out process is very convenient!

Cons: cold water after 4 showers, we were 7....
A bit noisy because of the street

Overall experience was good ! We recommend the flat !

  • We enjoyed our stay in Wan Chai. The apartment was clean and big enough for two couples to stay comfortably. The bamboo scaffolding surrounding the building came down during our time there greatly improving the look of the building both from outside and within!

  • The apartment was in an excellent position. Very handy to transport and restuarants. Sally was very helpful and everything went according to plan..We would love to visit again. Thank you Sally & Friends from Judy Parker & Family

  • Overall stay was very good. Thanks to Sally for allowing early check in and late check out so as to accommodate to our arrival & departure timings. Location is not too bad about 5-10mins slow walk from Causeway Bay.
However, the only problem is water heater. Perhaps for big group, this pose a problem as it takes awhile for water to heat up and not advisable for 2 person to shower together at the same time (though there are 2 bathrooms).
But all in all, I would recommend this apartment for a good stay for big group.

  • We stayed at Sally's apartment in early December. There were 8 of us - 5 adults and 3 young kids (ages 7 and 5).

PROS: The apartment is near restaurants and public transportation. Also the place has 2 bathrooms which is a must if you have a lot of people in your group.
There's a good washing machine and dryer and the kitchen is supplied with utensils and plates. I believe there were also pots and pans, but we did not really use them. Bathrooms are clean and family size shampoos, conditioners and soaps are provided. Basa and their friend Eric were very punctual and arrived as expected. WI-FI is very fast! 2 bottles of water were also provided.

CONS: As noted by previous reviewer, there's construction going on so there's some noise and scaffolding around the building. There's no noise at night though.

The floors are dusty. My daughter wore socks and they were very dirty after a couple of hours only.

The main disappointment was the bed sheets. In at least 2 rooms, they were obviously not washed. Fortunately, there's a washing machine so we just washed them ourselves using the detergent provided. .

The airconditioning was kinda loud in one of the rooms but after a day of walking and sight seeing, your body won't mind. :-)

Overall, we like the place mainly due to the location and compared to other flats in HK, it is a decent size. Sally was also very responsive to questions prior to our trip which I think is very important for this type of arrangement. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I need confirmation that the sheets have been washed/replaced prior to our checkin!

FYI. This is not that close to the MTR. You'd have to walk a good 2 or 3 blocks so if you have luggages, keep this in mind as the sidewalks are also tight. When we checked out, we had to walk about a block to the Taxi stand and just took a cab to the airport. We did not bother taking the bus due to our luggages - not easy with 3 kids.

  • My family of 11 had a good 3 night stay in Sally's apartment. It is very well located in bustling Wanchai with tram and MTR service and restaurants. The apartment has everything we needed. Sally was very responsive to our enquiries throughout our stay. Check in and out was smooth with Sally's friend. I would recommend Sally's apartment.

    December 2013
  • Sally was very helpful but the building where the apartment is located is going through renovations till mar 2014 so scaffolding are up and place is kinda noisy so not really recommended unless you are going to be out most of the time.

    Location was good though.

Basa was not very punctual, i whatsapp him day before to expect us at 9.30 and had to wait at the door (next to a very angry newspaper aunty who glared at us for blocking up the space. Basa arrived only at 10.30.

Apartment was also quite dusty due to the construction work.

Check-out was worst coz we agreed on 9.00am and when i called Basa at 9.10am, his phone was off. So i text sally that i will leave the keys in the house and left.

Sally still bothered to call and ask after she got my message but nothing heard from Basa... kinda disappointing.

  • Overall great location, good size for 6 people (no more if you want a living space), and quick response from the owner, but the place is absolutely filthy and requires much better cleaning. Lots of inconveniences because of ongoing construction, lift not working, and inability to use the water during specific times of the day. You can work around this but this should be better communicated so that we are aware during booking. Make sure you inquire.

    CONs:
-Place was super dirty, almost like it was not cleaned beforehand. Person who let us in trekked all over the place with his and his wife's shoes on. Watermarks in the bathroom, dust all over the place, bedsheets did not feel washed, we walked barefoot on the floor and our feet turned completely black...disgusting
-Had to request for the cleaner to come clean, but she did absolutely nothing. She did not know what to do, and when we told her to help clean the toilet, she said she already did. She was completely useless and had no sense of hygiene. She did not have a bucket to mop the floor, so she used the kitchen sink for the dirty mop...the place where you wash your dishes that you'd be eating from.
-We ended up cleaning the place ourselves - vacuumed 2xs and mopped it 4xs before it felt better. Washed all the bedsheets/comforters/towels for a peace of mind.
-LOUD, loud construction and drilling happening from 9am to 5pm. You cannot sleep through this and you can't chill in your home because it's just too loud
-You cannot use the water because construction is going on. This lasted for about 1-2 hours the first day, but becomes another inconvenience
-Lift did not work during specific times of the day, probably due to the construction work going on. At one point we had to lug our suitcases up 3 floors
-Because the place was dirty, my husband's eczema ended up flaring up, so we booked a last-minute hotel for 6 nights, while our other family members stayed there

    PROs
-Both Sally and her helper were very responsive and apologetic. However, we were there for a wedding occasion and these were all huge inconveniences that made the stay much more troublesome...it added a lot more problems for us during a time when we especially did not need more problems, hence very frustrating
-Location was good as promised - Wanchai's a good place
-Place is ideal for 6 people (2 per room). You can fit more from a sleeping space standpoint (people doubling up or using the sofa bed), but if you're use to more space, it's best to make sure you have a living area for so many people

Overall, the #1 request would be for the place to be clean and sanitary, and for any construction to be explicitly communicated so that people are aware of what they'd be getting into. It could've been much more enjoyable if it was clean

    November 2013
  • Great location, with all the amenities as described. We were a party of 7 including 2 young children staying for one week and the place was perfect for our needs. Sally was easy to get in contact with and helpful and friendly.

One thing to note is that the building itself (so outer walls) is currently undergoing renovations so there is scaffolding around the building. But once we shut all the blinds it really didn't affect us.
