We stayed here while skiing at Stowe. The location is super convenient to both the resort and the town. The hosts are super knowledgable about the area and provide a great breakfast with delicious home made jam. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is such a charming find. Shawn and Chantal are amazingly warm and friendly hosts, the spaces are all cozy, and the hot tub is perfect after a long day on the slopes! This will always be my top pick in the area.

Great stay! I think everyone has covered all the good things about the B&B from the room and its comfortable bed & pillows, tasty breakfasts, outdoor hot tub (which was awesome after a day of skiing) and its proximity to town, restaurants, shops and Stowe resort. Beyond the accommodations, Chantal and Shawn are wonderful people, great hosts and really made this a 5+ star stay for me and my son. No question, I'll be back.

Shawn and Chantel are amazing hosts. They definitely added an extra star on our trip to Vermont. Their place is at a very convenient location and most attractions are close-by. While booking their place we informed them that we will be reaching late in the night and they left us a key with a note which had the directions to our room. Isn't that fabulous? The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good too. They helped us plan our day and suggested some really good places to see and also provided a voucher for discount on mountain toll roads. They are very welcoming and warm hosts. I highly recommend staying with Shawn and Chantel for folks travelling to Vermont. Thank you so much Shawn and Chantel!!!

They were very helpful in finding tourist sites in the area. During breakfast they were interacting with all of the guests. The homebaked muffins and quick breads were yummy!

They greeted us, and took time to explain about some of the local information about things to do and places to eat. Very much appreciated.

Shawn & Chantal User ProfileShawn & Chantal is a superhost.

We have been innkeepers in Stowe for 16 years. We offer simple, affordable, clean, comfortable accommodations. We have lived in many parts of the world, including Boston, Montreal, and France, to name a few. We enjoy meeting people and hosting folks from all over the world. Chantal was born and raised in France, and she has an extensive background in the hospitality industry. Shawn hails from the South Shore of Boston, and he's a writer and teacher. We were both ski instructors when me met, and that's one of the main reasons we settled in Stowe. We know the area intimately, and we'd love to meet you, so give us a call.
**Chantal recently went on a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, or, The Way, in norther Spain. This was a life-changing journey, and she would love to tell you about it when you visit us at the Auberge.**
