The Haven is a warm, cosy, quirky, very small hut set in a beautiful garden. It is perfect for a single traveller but does sleep two people and includes a welcome basket. If you are looking for a simple, outdoorsy place to stay where you can self-cater in the outdoor kitchen, bbq or walk into the village for a pub meal, the Haven is for you! It is easily accessible for those with or without their own transport, with regular bus services to Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee. A perfect getaway!

The space
This is a unique small space set in a lovely garden location. The stove keeps it warm and toasty. In the afternoon it is lovely and sunny. There is a private bbq area and outdoor kitchen. The outdoor shower and composting toilet is shared with yurt guests. It is ideal if you like a glamping style break, cooking outside whilst having the comforts of a woodburning stove and comfortable bed to sleep in!

Other things to note
Tea, coffee and milk are provided on arrival. The Kilgraston Farm Breakfast can be ordered the day before £6 per person, this includes freshly baked croissants with butter and jam, Greek yoghurt, fruit, honey and granola pots, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, a cafetiere of fresh coffee.
A picnic can be ordered for £8.50 per person, please book a day ahead. I have a small flower and gift shop where I sell prints, jewellery, candles, cards, and ceramics from my friend in Lisbon as well as fresh flowers and plants.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please keep your dog on a leash as we also have a dog and there are sheep in the neighbouring field.

As we are in a rural location, the WiFi is not as fast or as reliable as in the city.

Please note the shower and toilet are not contained within the hut, but a short walk through the garden.

The hut has everything you need to cater for yourselves, however if you don’t fancy cooking we offer a variety of homemade, takeaway meal choices for you to enjoy either outside in the garden, or in the yurt. If you would like to order anything from the options below, please let me know the day before so that I can prepare everything for you!

Neighborhood highlights

Our farmhouse is situated on the edge of the village of the Bridge of Earn, with gentle hills all around, but easy access to the main routes to the Highlands, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Haven is in our large garden, which guests have access to. Beautiful ceramic jewellery, made by Ana Delfino from Lisbon, postcards, prints, plants, soaps, candles, essential oils etc...are available to buy, just ask me if you are interested. Although it is a very rural location we are only ten minutes drive from Perth which has all of the facilities of a small city. The Haven is easily accessible by public transport, there are local buses which run regularly to Perth, there is also the Ember Bus service which runs regularly, day and night, to Edinburgh city centre, Edinburgh airport, and Dundee, making the Hut very accessible.
