Quiet, private room with comfortable queen size bed and private bath in no pet, non-smoking, low carbon footprint household. Enjoy the ocean view, fireplace and kitchen. Go for great walks-We are within walking distance to the Elfin Forest and Estero/Morro Bay and 5 miles from beautiful Montana de Oro. Also 12 miles from San Luis Obispo. Near by is Morro Bay with great seafood and not too far away is Hearst Castle, wine tasting and the elephant seals. The Central Coast has it all.
Our house is decorated in an eclectic blend of world cultures from our travels to Bali, China, Japan, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala, and Europe. We hope you enjoy it.
Los Osos/Baywood is a quiet residential community surrounded by natural beauty and at the gateway to the incredible Big Sur Coast of CA.
Entire house, kitchen to use if you need it.
Interaction with Guests
We are available to talk and also respect guests wishes for privacy, if needed.
Baywood is a community of Los Osos. It is older houses near the Bay-great for walking, bird watching, enjoying the scenery. Our neighborhood is a mixture of funky and upgraded houses (we've had a moratorium on building since 1985). It's quiet, safe and although it's a mile walk to the nearest pub or restaurant, it's a great walk! Night life is pretty non-existent-you can always go to Morro Bay or SLO.
Public transportation is available but not really convenient-bus every hour to SLO.
Other Things to Note
One of our neighbors is doing a complete home re-model and things can look a bit like a construction zone at times.
Due to the ongoing drought conditions in San Luis Obispo County, we ask that you please conserve water and limit showers to under 5 minutes.
Had a great time Paula, thank you and Paul very much for sharing your home with us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Los Osos staying at Paula & Paul's place. Paula helped us work out the logistics to a show we wanted to attend, found us a sports bar nearby that was showing the Giants game, and gave us great suggestions for a lovely morning hike! Definitely recommend!
Paula and Paul had a nice, clean room in a nice, clean house. They offered us tea and coffee in the morning, and they let us use their kitchen. Paula gave us lots of recommendations.
We couldn't have had a better reception at Paula's house. The room was clean, incredibly comfortable, and packed with guidebooks and advice for things to do in the area including guide to local restaurants and activities that Paula made. Paula and her husband also treated us to some delicious chocolate croissants and coffee in the morning.
Most importantly, we truly enjoyed getting to know Paula through conversations over breakfast. She has a wonderful spirit and it's clear that she truly enjoys hosting and getting to know about her guests! Thanks for everything!
Paula & Paul provided a very comfortable humble home, conveniently located off the PCH. Provided lots of recommendations as were to dine and things to do around the area. Would definitely recommend !
Paula and Paul were lovely hosts, we had a lot to talk about and they're house was very cool, with a great view of the bay. Sam and I had our own bathroom space. Everything was clean and comfortable. In the morning we had coffee together and hot pain au chocolate's!
Morro Bay is quiet and pretty, the people all seemed very friendly. It has some good places to eat, we had a Really delicious burger at 'Sylvester's' then watched the sunset by the bay.
Paula is a very gracious host and we felt very much at home there. The room was light and comfortable, the bathroom pristine, and there was a great view of the bay from the main rooms. Her suggestions of where to dine and what to see were very helpful.
