SAFE, QUIET and CLEAN apartment near Clapham North underground station.

Are you a lady traveling on your own and looking for a safe reliable place to stay in London? Are you a cozy couple looking for a romantic getaway that affords you wonderful space to be yourselves at a decent price? Or do you simply need a place with ample space to sleep up to four people AND has unlimited Wi-Fi? My flat is suitable for all of the above and when you book it there is NO sharing with people you don't know ;-)

There is a minimum booking period of 3 nights but I've left my settings to allow for 1 night bookings for occasional left overs between lengthier bookings. Cleaning is free for bookings over 6 nights!

The flat can accommodate up to 4 people (Bedroom + SofaBed in the living room).

If you key in 4 guests, airbnb will give a quote for all the 4 people. For e.g. 4 friends staying for a week in Sep 2013 would be under $50 per person per night! But if you are a couple then the price is under $150 a night for both of you! This is a very nice flat for a low price! On top of that it is even less expensive during low season months. And of-course it is more expensive during peak months of July-Aug. Please check my calendar for price!

If you want to experience living in a real London neighborhood, this is one of the best area. The local shops, pubs and cafe are great (to top it up very reasonable price cafe, shops, restaurants are around as well as pricey once too).

It is 5-7 minutes walk from the famous Clapham Common (Public Park) which is buzzing with life and local people all year round. It is the best place to spend a few summer afternoons. There are a couple of local council (government) leisure facilities which could be used on a pay as you go basis. They are usually a few £ for each use which includes gym, clean and indoor warm swimming pool, racket sports.

It is located 2 minute to underground station which can take you to central London (e.g. London Bridge, Bank, Embankment, Oxford circus and Leicester square) within 12-15 minutes. Buses and over ground trains also run frequently between my flat and all parts of London including central London. Additionally there are a couple of night buses which will bring you safely from central London if you fancy a late night out e.g. night clubs.

There are a lot of grocery stores e.g Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S all within walking distance AND few £1 shops around (you will be surprise what you can get for a £1 in those shops:-)

Brixton (10 minutes bus 15 minutes walking) itself is a bit like a cool village within a large metropolis. It is a lively spot with many bars, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, cafes, markets and health food shops to name but a few. And if you value your food and the planet there is a great organic farmers market locally every Sunday! Brixton will give you a taste of the real London for those of you looking to go off the beaten tourist track into the local heart of this great city. If in doubt check out 'Brixton Village' market online and you will then know what I am talking about! It's even been written up in the New York Times.

Other nearby Amenities - Coin Laundromat - 2min, Pay as you go Gym and Swimming pool - 2-3min.

This would suit anyone traveling through London who wants to see a bit of authentic London life with its pubs, bars, people and local living, and have wicked access to the west end and all the sights. Basically this is where the real Londoners live!

The flat has got everything you would need during your stay in London.

The apartment's location is absolutely fantastic. Only 30 minutes and you can be right in the City for business or various sightseeing opportunities like St Pauls. Clapham itself is lovely and there are lots of great places to eat just minutes from the apartment. The apartment itself, is very spacious and well kitted out and comfortable. This apartment is perfect for anyone that needs it for business or for anyone wanting to sightsee. Amit is incredibly kind and was very helpful despite us being stupid with the wifi. All in all a great experience with a great host.

Amit's apartment is very much in need of some TLC. The kitchen floor is severely water damaged and is coming up. In the bathroom the side of the bath is coming away and is again water damaged and mouldy. Tiles in the bathroom are cracked on the floor and some appear ready to fall off the wall. All through the building it is stated that for tenant safety doors should be double locked but no second key for deadlock was provided. Photos of the apartment are misleading - and look as if there are 2 bedrooms. There are not - this is simply moving the mirror in the room and additional bedding. The hot water was additionally turned off- not useful when running late in the morning! I have stayed in many apartments in Clapham for work and this is by far the worst value for money. Its one positive is location to Clapham Hugh Street and Clapham North

Location, Location, Location right in the heart of Clapham. Even very quiet though close to everything and a busy nightlife. A very neat and small apartment. It was very easy to communicate with Amit and we were very well taken care of on our arrival.

We just returned from our trip to London, and staying at Amit's London Clapham apartment was perfect for us! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. There were three of us, so having the pull-out couch in the living room was great. It is not located in the center of London, but it located in the Clapham North area, which is easily accessible throughout London via the Northern line. Using the underground you get anywhere in London in about 20-30 minutes. There is also a bus station around the corner if necessary. Amit met us at the flat, and kindly waited for us as we were a little delayed from our flight. He welcomed us warmly into the apartment, showed us around, and even left us some yummy cake. Checkout was easy -- we just left the keys on the table and locked the door behind us. Amit was also flexible without checkout time, which was convenience for us since we had a later departure. There are also two grocery stores on the road between the flat and The Underground. This made it easy to grab some fruit and yogurt for the morning on the way home at night. There is a french press in the apartment, so you can also make a cup of coffee in the morning. As a suggestion: if you book this place, take the underground to the Victoria station where you can grab a train to Gatwick on the Southern rail line. This was very easy for us on the way out. We accidentally took the EasyBus on the way in, which I would not recommend. Overall, we would definitely recommend Amit and the London Clapham Apartmer - 4. Thanks for a great weekend, Amit!

Great location. Clapham High Street(CLP) overground station is just a couple of minutes away for travel to/from Gatwick airport. Or if like us you had an early morning departure from Gatwick, take the 345 bus to Clapham Junction and the train to Gatwick. Clapham North underground is also a couple of minutes away for sight seeing trips to London (the eye etc). Get a regular Oyster card. The apartment itself is well equipped, great wifi, good sleeping arrangements that could accommodate 4 with a sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen has all the basics including pots/pans, microwave, fridge etc. There will be some noise specially from some of the tipsy revelers that hang out late on Friday nights but I would expect that in any major city. We had clean towels and sheets and shopped at both Sainsburys and Tesco right on Clapham High Street. One small suggestion is to add curtains to the living room for light sleepers like myself. Amit was great to deal with and I would stay in the same apartment again!

Amit was a very polite and welcoming host. As it was my first stay in London alone, I would recommend this flat to almost anyone. It was clean and Amit ensured that I was satisfied with the place. It is just a few minutes walk to the tube and the bus stop is around the corner. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store minutes away as well. Very pleased with my stay and would stay again if needed.

The flat was nice and well kitted out, with a very convenient location. Amit was a very kind host and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Only comments would be that the flat can be quite noisy at times, with traffic noise from Clapham High Street, and the bedroom blinds don't keep the light out so the room does get bright in the early mornings (summer time)!

Response from Amit:
Sara, thanks for the kind words. Let me know when you're in London next time. I have also installed a new black-out curtain on the bedroom window which probably should block some noise as well as most of the early morning light.

Dear Traveller - First of all my motto is hospitality! It is culturally very important for me to make my guests comfortable in my apartments. Thus I usually try to provide any thing my guest might ask me during their stay. Hopefully some of my reviews would support my claim.

Secondly, I Love traveling myself so understand some of the basic needs of the travellers. I manage my properties very professionally i.e. professional cleaning and comfortable bed.

Last but not the least I love living in Clapham myself. I've been living here for the past few years therefore I can tell you where all the best bars and restaurants are.

You’ll have plenty of your own space to do your own thing and yet I’m just a call or a text message away if you need anything. I look forward to hosting you in my awesome apartments.
