Hayes Valley is near the heart of the city, and is incredibly convenient to anywhere. 10+ bus lines, muni rail, and the BART, all convenient within a few blocks. You'll be staying 2 blocks from Hayes street with its wide selection of excellent dining and nightlife, 4-5 blocks from the Opera, 2 blocks from many Theaters and concert venues. You'll be 10 blocks from Alamo Square and Japantown, not to mention plenty of convenient ways to get to Haight Ashbury, NOPA, Polk Street, SOMA, Castro, the Mission, and the Financial District. Its hard to find a more centrally-located rental!
This is a fairly spacious, simple, studio apartment for your use when I'm out of town.
Closet space reserved for you, full kitchen use and all the pots/pans etc.
Currently a full-sized, comfortable bed, soon to have a memory foam cover for extra comfort and warmth in the winter!.
Has a desk, wifi, good space, and a bathroom with shower & tub.
I don't have any animals, but apartment is on 2nd floor with no elevator. Prepare to take a couple trips if you've got multiple heavy suitcases. Other than that, no big deal at all. Maximum if 4 people allowed, I have a smaller spare airbed I can leave if you'd like to bring a bigger group for $10.
On top of it all, I can leave you access to my aluminium frame road bike. Its a ton of fun and will make getting around the city a breeze. We can discuss this offline as needed.

Nice studio apartment in a good, central location. The apartment was nice and clean and was facing away from the streets so was peaceful at night. Although we never met Rob, he was very easy to communicate with and everything went very smoothly.
Rob was very helpful in accommodating my stay in San Francisco. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for accessing the various parts of the city. I definitely recommend this studio as a good home base for visiting and exploring around.
Rob's place was perfect for our Christmas visit! It was clean and had everything we needed! His bed was super comfy and warm and we would definitely stay there again if we come back to San Fran. Parking was easy to find and the location was close to everything! Even though we didn't have a chance to meet Rob his superhost was very helpful and patient as we arrived late on Christmas Eve. Thanks so much Rob!
Rob's apartment was exactly what i was looking for : clean, well located, inexpensive.
nearby japantown, civic center, fillmore jazz clubs. 30 minutes walk from everything (Castro, Haight & Ashbury, Mission District, Union Square...).
Everything you need in the apartment (except maybe a table).
Rob gave me all the instructions to get into the apartment (very clear) and a few informations about SF. Easy to contact. A good host.
We enjoyed our stay in this clean and spartan apartment. Perfect launchpad for milling around civic center and everything nearby! The only missing component was a microwave, but the toaster oven more than compensated.
Rob's place was a perfect launching spot for all of our San Francisco adventures. The neighbourhood's a gem, too, and we had everything we needed for a great weekend in town!
This apartment was exactly what I needed. Just a simple place to crash during a short trip to San Francisco. The place was clean and instructions on how to get into the apartment was clear.
This was my first time using airbnb, and staying at Rob's place was a great experience. Rob was very easy to work with and a great host. We would definitely stay with him again. The apartment location was convenient for getting anywhere you want in the city easily.
Rob's apartment is in the perfect location for accessing all areas of San Francisco. My boyfriend and I were able to get everywhere in town by foot, bike, or public transit very easily. Rob was very accommodating in giving us directions to get to his place and with the key hand-off, and responded promptly to all communication. Thanks for a great experience!
The apartment was perfect for what we needed. Located right next to City Hall, we could walk and cab everywhere with ease. Prepare for $30 dollar parking if you have an overnight stay, but some hotels may charge you between $50-$60 on top of the room rate. Would stay there again!! Thanks, Rob!!!
