Take a 5 minute walk to Illawarra Rd and there you will find one of the oldest and best Greek bakery, award winning cafes and a wide variety of Vietnamese restaurants. Hop on the 423 bus and in 10 minutes you're in the vibrant precinct of Newtown with it's eclectic bars, cafes and restaurants.
Marrickville railway station is on the Bankstown Line of the CityRail network. The inner west line can be accessed from nearby stations of Stanmore and Petersham. Buses also run regularly along the main roads!

If you do arrive earlier, there is a Greek bakery/cafe only 150m away where you can sit down and can grab a bite to eat and drink.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees of $50 per person per night will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Damage, Breakages, Stains, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay and should be made known to the owner before you leave. If you inform us of damage or loss we will make good the loss and charge you a minimum labour and replacement value.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival including the removal and disposal of perishable garbage.

Great location! Only a short walking distance from the center of Marrickville. Also clean and well organised - we were very happy staying here.
Tom was nice enough to offer us an early check in which was helpful as we have a 6 month old. The place is clean, comfortable and located conveniently close to the train station. Parking on the roadside is easy to find and free.
Only downfall is that my baby struggled to sleep at night with the train tracks so nearby.
The apartment was cosy, very clean and in a great location. It is a converted garage divided into a kitchen/dining room, and a bedroom/ensuite. Extra towels were provided promptly when requested. The air conditioning was a lifesaver and used to great effect!
The apartment suited our needs perfectly, it was very close to the train and also the airport. Well stocked apartment and the air conditioning was great!

We stayed here for 5 nights . The location is very ideal with the train station just a short walk away . However , the train tracks run right behind the house. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem for you but we were too exhausted from all our days activities to be disturbed by it . Marrickville is only a few stops to central and the neighbourhood is also filled with good cafés. There's a good Greek bakery, coffee shop and laosian place I recommend trying . The apartment is behind a bigger home and I suggest is most ideal for max 3 people. It is Cousy though and nicely furnished. We requested towels and shortly after got a few more. Maybe better preparation to our arrival could have been done like more sheets for the bed and pull out couch , enough towels upon out arrival, and toilet paper. We told all this to the owners and due to it being a holiday period we understood their situation . They were generous and offered to pay for whatever things were lacking. Overall , the apartments best asset is the great location and nice beds . Thankyou tom and galina for being accommodating and fr your quick responses .
