Welcome to Wabash! Located in the St. Louis Hills/Lindenwood Park Neighborhoods, Wabash is not far from the famous Route 66 and features a vintage-inspired design! It is a three bedroom home that comfortably sleeps up to 7 people with a game room, a martini bar, a washer & dryer, and a full kitchen. We love vintage furniture! Laura has been collecting pieces for years so we utilized what we already had in our various collections and went scouring the St. Louis region for the coolest vintage pieces we could find in our budget.
The bedrooms have each been designed around a theme. The master bedroom is the "Hello Sailor!" room decorated with parasols and pin-ups taking travelers back in time to the Hawaiian islands circa late 40s early 50s. The Side bedroom is called the "Space Yeah!" room zooming travelers into space Jetson style. Our final bedroom is upstairs with a rich Asian-inspired design. The downstairs bedrooms have full-sized beds, as does the pull-out couch in the living room, and the upstairs bedroom has a twin bed. The other room upstairs has been designated as a game room complete with board games, tv, dvd, ihome, and books for guests' entertainment.

Roland did it all. We were moved to his home when a reservation was cancelled and he stepped right up to the plate. Good communication prior to arrival. Thank you.
The four of us loved the home and the location. We could walk to restaurants (or drive if we chose to do so) and could easily make our way around the city because of the ease of access to large streets and highways.
The house was very clean which was greatly appreciated and we hope we left it in decent shape for you upon our departure.
Thanks again for everything.
Howard and three others.
Very cute house which had everything we needed for a great weekend in St. Louis. Tucked back in a nice neighborhood with restaurants and stores nearby and easy to get to. Pleasantly surprised that the famous Ted Drewes is right around the corner from this neighborhood. The upstairs rooms were a great place for our teenagers to hang out. Roland was a great host and when I called him about a questions, he answered immediately and was helpful and very nice.
Both Roland and his place will not disappoint! He thought of everything.! The location is excellent as well. Very peaceful, well appointed neighborhood.
We loved the quaint features in this 1940 home with an updated, well-equipped kitchen The neighborhood is quiet and safe and in a great location to reach the various locations we were interested in seeing throughout the city. The house was clean and had a great second floor with a bedroom and bumper room. Roland was very helpful and accessible by phone at all times.
We LOVED our stay at Roland's house. It was exactly as described, lovely neighborhood, close to lots of shopping. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We were blown away by the amount of tools available. The vintage items that Roland has chosen were a perfect compliment to the architecture of the house and looked really cool. This rental was inexpensive and just what we needed for our family's Easter/Baby Shower trip. We will definitely be back.
Our stay at this house was just perfect. The house was in a great location, and worked out very well. The host was responsive to our questions in advance of our visit, and as we were leaving. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thanks!
Roland was very congenial. We spoke by phone a couple of times in advance regarding agreed upon arrangements, and everything was as discussed when we arrived. The home was clean and neat, but not fancy, exactly as represented and depicted in the website photos. The neighborhood was the same. Despite the recent adverse publicity parts of the St. Louis metro area have received, 4585 Wabash was in an indisputably safe and attractive neighborhood. Freeways were out of sight and sound, but were readily accessible.
Following our arrival, we had one request of Roland, and he accommodated us immediately. I can speak for all five members of our group when I say we had a wonderful time, and the place we stayed played a significant part in that.
I just finished leasing my home for a year and decided I'd much rather furnish it and host those that would really appreciate all the work I've put into making it a charming abode over the last decade.
I also love traveling, meeting new people, and staying in charming accommodations.
Along with a variety of short annual road trips, my family and I also travel over seas and have really enjoyed the UK, Scotland being our favorite vacation destination.
My friend Laura, a regular AirBnB hostess, offered to help me turn my home into a vintage inspired AirBnB hotspot. After a few weeks of hard work, the place looks great and we are eager to host our first guests. Looking forward to meeting our travelers and giving them a home away from home as they explore all that St. Louis has to offer!
