First floor apartment in far back from the street. Windows face the backyard so the apartment has tons of light and is super quiet.
The neighborhood is blowing up so there are new coffee shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants, etc opening every month
I leave town for work from time to time and would be happy to lend you my space.

The apt has one bedroom with a full sized bed. The mattress is awesome. It's memory foam and pretty firm but not a rock. There are plenty of extra linens if needed. There is also a giant couch if you have a buddy. Ideally I'd like to keep occupancy to no more than 2 just to keep noise to a minimum.
There is a full kitchen, microwave, oven, lots of dishes for baking and cooking. There is a juicer if you're into that too. There is dinning room set for 4 but I have two extra folding chairs if you need them.
Since I work from home this apt is a bit of an office too. There is an iMac which you are welcome to. I use it as my "TV" with Netflix, hulu, iTunes, whatever. Feel free to log into your accounts and go to town. There is also an Apple LED Cinema Display (mid-2012) which you are welcome to use as well if you are a designer or photographer and need the screen for your laptop.
There is wifi via an Airport Express so you can use the speakers in apt via your iPhone or other device if you're on the network. There are books a plenty and there is also a track 1/3 mile away where you can run or workout.
Manhattan is about 20-30mins away depending on the trains. The closest train is about an 7-8min walk (the Nassau G-train).
Email me if you're interested! I would love to share my happy space with you while you're in Brooklyn.
You'll have access to all the kitchen appliances/ wear. Books, magazine, computer, screen, etc. The closet and dresser are off limits.
I am available via text or airbnb message for any apartment related questions :)
My apartment is the quietest place I've ever stayed in NYC. I wake up to birds chirping not horns honking. Everything I need is within a few blocks. Gym, coffee, groceries, pharmacy, sushi, mexican, thai, and chinese foods. It's the best!
The G-train is a 7 minute walk and the L-train (bedford ave) is a 15 minute walk.

Wonderful apt, just as promised. Clean and welcoming. Plenty of linens, dishes, etc. TOTALLY recommend! Thanks for a great stay in NYC.
Katie's apartment was a beautiful and cozy place to stay during our 3 day visit to New York City. The surrounding neighborhood seems to be very safe. Also, the apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the Graham Ave subway station which is on the L train line that will take you directly into Manhattan. There is another subway station that is a bit closer on G train line which which runs north to south from Queens to Brooklyn. So, accessing public transportation was easy. All in all, my wife, her sister, and I were all really pleased with Katie's apartment and would highly recommend it!
Katie's place is perfect! Very roomy and just a short walk from the subway. Great neighbourhood, never felt unsafe. I had no issues getting into Manhattan, and check-in/check-out went seamlessly. I would definitely recommend Katie's place.
I had a great stay at Katie’s place! It was comfortable, quiet, and a short walking distance to the awesomeness that Greenpoint has to offer. Also my experience with Katie went without a hitch. She’s a great communicator and always promptly returned my correspondence. I would definitely stay at her place again.
Katie has a really great apt in a nice area of Brooklyn. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The apt is close to interesting, homey bars and restaurants and the area, Greenepointe, is close to Williamsburg, which has even more. Katie was also very prompt and professional in responding to my questions, which made renting the place a very easy process. The only point to note is that the closest subway line is the G Train, which runs a bit slower and less frequently than other lines. This didn't cause us any major problems, but just something to note if you need to be in the city at a certain time. Overall, great stay and highly recommended!
