About this listing
I conceived and completely renewed Iris Concept Suite as a charming apartment in the heart of the medieval Siena center. The apartment is located in an ancient building 100 meters from Piazza del Campo and offers a breathtaking view over the Torre del Mangia e the Frontone del Duomo. The elegant interiors are a combination of contemporary design, contemporary art and ancient pieces of furniture. I chose each detail to offer the possibility to enjoy the comfort of a private apartment provided with most sophisticated services.
The apartment is structured with a large livingroom with dining area, a completely equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with kingsize bed and separate dressing room, a separate wardrobe for all your luggage and a specially designed bathroom with both shower and bathtub. All has been renewed just few months ago.
With a spacious and luminous ambient, Iris Concept Suite is a unique private and relaxing environment, where you can feel at home as much as I did for many years.
- Independent heating system
- Complete linen sets
- Microwave oven
- Fully equipped kitchen including dishes and all necessary kitchenware for 4 guests.

Everything in the house.

The name of the neighborhood (in Siena we use the ancient word Contrada) is called Torre (Tower), it is one of the 17 Contrada of the city. Although it's in the very heart of the city, is is not in the touristic circuit, which lets the Contrada maintain its characteristics of the "true Siena". It is plenty of any kind of bars and restaurants, but you can also find old shops full of atmosphere.
Car circulation is not allowed in the city center so I suggest that you leave your car in one of the two free parking lots close to the center. One is in via Bonci and the second one in viale Vittorio Veneto. They are at walkable distance from home, about 15-20 minutes.
By bus (from Piazza Gramsci) you can reach many interesting places around Siena: Montalcino (well known for its wine Brunello), Rapolano if you want to enjoy one day at the thermal baths, San Gimignano (a medieval New York), Grosseto for one day on the beach. You can rent a car for a tour in the countryside. I suggest that you visit Le Crete, going from Siena to Asciano through the old road, the castle of Monteriggioni, Pienza, San Quirico d'orcin with its beautiful ancient thermal swimming pool in the square of the village.
In the apartment everything is straight forward, no specific rules other than the ones suggested by good behavior.
Please switch light off when you don't use it!
* you can use everything in the house.
* please do not leave heating system on when checking out.
* kindly be respectful to neighbours.
* If any problem with anything, please contact me directly: (email hidden) I have email on my phone and answer fast.

If you have any questions you can email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
If you are visiting Seina this place should be your very first choice. It is a gem . Sabrina had made this place into a modern spa. The pictures do no justice to this place. The entire house is amazing. We were there june21 to June 23rd. I wished I had more time. The bathroom is a spa. The bedroom is great. Kitchen is wow. The location is 2 minute walk from the Square. And the host Sabrina is so helpful. Ty we surely will be back.
The apartment is so adorable! It's adorned with many antiques, charming French decors and modern amenities. It's as if you are living inside an artist's house. The kitchen has been fully renovated and has everything you need. We stayed in 5 Airbnbs during our trip to Europe and this one is superior from the rest.
Sabrina was very responsive. We couldn't find the place because Google Maps was confused; she met us at the main square which is a short walking distance to the apartment. She lives nearby so she was able to assist us in opening the door when we couldn't figure out how to work it.
Location was perfect. The view of the town from the living room windows was just magnificent. It's a 10 minute walk to the bus station, Piazza Gramsci.
My only disapproval was that there was a nightclub or bar or some hangout that played really loud music at night. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. No loud music Friday but on Saturday night, music glared until 2am. Definitely not for light sleepers.
We absolutely loved Sabrina's apartment. It is exactly as described but seeing it is even so much better! Everything you need to enjoy a stay in the heart of Sienna. Just a two minute walk to the piazza, great restaurants and shopping. The apartment is very spacious and quite with beautiful outlooks over Sienna. The bathroom is a "spa" with excellent design features.
We loved it and thanks so much foraging this a great experience for me, my wife and daughter. Ciao!
Our stay in the the city of Siena was magnifico. I had been here before for a brief tour but our longer stay in an apartment really gave us the opportunity to explore and feel right at home in this unique place. We choose the apartment based on the wonderful reviews we read and the location of the apartment in the heart of Siena. Everything was very true. Sabrina was the ultimate host. She really made you feel from the start that your comfort and experience not only in her home but in the city was important to her. It was a treat to be greeted by her at our arrival with information about herself and recommendations for the city and beyond. This helped to ground us in this new place. She graciously answered every one of our specific questions and was available by phone, text or email whenever we needed her. She was better than any fancy hotel concierge. The apartment was physically beautiful. Much more so than the picture or descriptions would lead you to believe. Everything from the personal furnishings to the spa like bathroom let us know we would enjoy every moment here and feel right at home. The basics/modern conveniences like the hot water and all the appliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, iron, hair dryer, TV that we never turned on and stereo system all worked reliably. We did a lot of cooking in the apartment and enjoyed buying our ingredients in the local shops Sabrina steered us to. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to create some memorable meals. The bed was very comfortable and we learned to fall asleep each night to the sounds of a city that is alive and vibrant with people. We rented a car for part of our stay and were able visit everything we wanted to see outside of the city. Sabrina's parking recommendations were convenient but I have to admit that vehicles and navigating Tuscany was more difficult that we could have ever imagined but we survived and returned home to our beautiful apartment each day. The location of the apartment was wonderful. We walked the city and felt like a part of the 'scene' each night. Sabrina graciously helped us make our final transportation arrangements to the train to continue on with our Italian tour. I felt as though I was leaving family when our holiday in Tuscany came to an end. I hope that Sabrina enjoys the guest book we left her and that many lucky travelers leave her their memories to cherish. It was hard to leave.
Sabrina was a very kind and attentive host. We drove to Siena and she gave us instructions on where to park outside the city centre. She met us upon our arrival, and came to say goodbye before we left. Her apartment was lovely, decorated beautifully and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. She kindly provided us with recommendations for restaurants and sites in Siena, including favourite spots for locals. She also gave us recommendations for drives outside of Siena - which we very much appreciated. We are looking forward to returning in the future.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'appartement de Sabrina. Nous recommandons vivement celui-ci. Sabrina est charmante et ses conseils nous furent très utiles.

About the Host, Sabrina
