The great view from the living room! Now even better with desk to work at in place of bookshelf ;)
The listing description was accurate. Ben was very on top of things when I needed something and also sent an email about a week before check in with additional info. I had picked the condo over some others in the downtown area simply because it was listed with a larger sq. footage and I was very happy with the spaciousness of it. There were a lot of little things in the condo that were a help--including some oil to cook eggs, which I had forgotten at the store, and some coffee and tea already there. I did not rent a car and it was very doable on foot. Took the Marta from the airport and back and walked most places in the area. Someone who is not used to walking in the summer humidity may opt for Uber etc. to get to close by places. I am used to jogging and so used the walking as my exercise for the day but someone else might not want to do that. :)
The apartment is very spacious and super clean with excellent location. We didn't meet Ben and Erin in person, but the communications with Ben before and during the stay were very smooth and efficient! We will absolutely stay here again when we visit Atlanta!
We are also airbnb hosts and we really appreciated what Ben and Erin offer in their condos. The apartment we stayed in was great. it had everything plus more that we needed for our stay. was close to everything downtown. it's a large 1 bedroom apartment the hosts were responsive with our questions and really helpful. I'd recommend staying with them in Atlanta.
ben and erin were very responsive and helpful. the condo was immaculate and exactly as described, in a very convenient neighborhood. i really enjoyed my stay here.
Thanks so much for everything. The place was fantastic and perfect location in downtown.
Erin and Ben's condo was awesome -- it was the perfect location (right in downtown, only a few minutes walk from the hotel where our conference was being held) and walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store! It's spacious and so clean, and it was wonderful having access to a kitchen during our stay. Erin (who we were in communication with) was so organized and welcoming! She helped me and my roommate here figure out a way to get each of us a separate receipt for reimbursement from our school, and was incredibly on top of things. We were welcomed to the condo with a bottle of wine (so nice after a long day of traveling!) and a binder of information about the house and the area. The kitchen was stocked and the bathroom was full of clean towels, extra pillows, and any essentials you may have left (including contact solution, which was a lifesaver since I couldn't bring mine through TSA). I would happily stay here again if I'm Atlanta, and would encourage anyone to do the same.
Erin and Ben were lovely hosts - the apartment was clean and large, and well located near the MARTA station, as well as walking distance to downtown Atlanta. We received quick and thorough communications from them, and felt comfortable throughout our stay.

About the Host, Ben And Erin
Erin got a job at Airbnb (!) and moved to San Francisco! She completed a PhD in economics in 2012. Ben earned an MA in applied linguistics in 2013 and teaches English to non-native speakers.
We are friends who have worked, traveled and lived together. In 2010, we bought an abandoned condo in Erin's building and fixed it up. It has amazing views of Atlanta and is a perfect home base for business or pleasure travel. After Erin moved out to California, she was able to put her Atlanta home on Airbnb as well.
About Erin: She's lived in Indiana, Australia, DC, Atlanta and now San Francisco, and has traveled to 5 continents, 31 countries and 46 states. She likes traveling, geography/maps, math, yoga, trivia, spreadsheets, golfing, football (Go Colts!), and animals (dogs especially). =)
About Ben: He's lived in DC, Northern Virginia, Massachusetts, Southern California, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Atlanta. He likes people, travel, running (head over to the Beltline while you're here!), biking, and spending time at the Chesapeake Bay.
We look forward to sharing our knowledge of Atlanta as well as our condo with you! We hope to see you soon!
