The Space

Excellent location in Jamaica Plain (JP) steps from Ula Cafe, City Feed, and right across the street from the Stony Brook T station (Orange Line), which will get you to downtown Boston in 10 minutes and the airport in about 20 minutes. It's about a five minute walk into JP Centre where there are many shops, restaurants, and bars. The Southwest Corridor park is directly across the street and we are one mile from Jamaica Pond — great for walking or running. It's a very safe and cool neighborhood.

We have a finished basement studio in our house with a full size futon, which we will make up for you with a very comfy memory foam mattress topper and soft, cozy sheets and bedding. There is a private bathroom, a washer and dryer, a microwave, and a refrigerator for your use. There is a white noise maker to drown out noise from us walking around upstairs (if we're home). There are a ton of books (mostly novels) for your reading enjoyment during your stay. We have free, high speed wifi.

You have a private entrance.

We have two dogs, both very friendly, who we will keep out of your way upstairs during your stay.

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have!

Elizabeth and Lucy are very attentive, generous and respectful. They made us feel like home, and they were very flexible with our requests. Most friendly and helpful hosts ever!
Highly recommended and I would stay with them again. Thank you both!

  • It was a pleasure walking into the basement apartment on 90 Boylston St. It was a clean, inviting and comfortable studio apartment offering a microwave, hot shower and refrigerator. There was a washer and dryer for use, a selection of tea and an assortment of water in the fridge for our taking. If we needed anything Elizabeth offered her services. We parked our car in the driveway. Our stay was enjoyable due to the fact of location and accommodations Elizabeth offered us, Thanks so much!

  • The space is just what I needed. The studio can't be nicer and cosy. I specially loved the bathroom, new, beautiful design and extremely clean. The studio is independent to the house, so there's no need to enter in the house and that really makes a difference. I am very glad she accepted me as a guest.

Elizabeth was the perfect host. She was very kind, and I really appreciate that she was always there to help if needed at the same time that she do not invaded my personal space. I have to say that thanks to her I got almost a free ride to the airport!! That I will never forget! hehe
