The space
Welcome to our comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront home with central air, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Traverse City.

The upstairs primary suite features a king bed, private bath with walk-in shower, dedicated workspace, and cozy sitting area.

On the main floor, you'll find two additional bedrooms. One has a queen bed with Smart TV, while the lakeside bedroom offers a double-over-twin trundle bed. These rooms share a full bathroom with a tub. Linens, pillows, blankets, hand soap, and starter toilet paper are provided.

Families are especially welcome! The home is stocked with toys, books, puzzles, kid-friendly dinnerware, and children's games. A crib and high chair are available upon request with advance notice.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for cooking and baking, including pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, utensils, a Keurig, toaster, blender, electric tea kettle, dishwasher, and starter supplies.

The walkout lower level features a pool table, comfortable seating area, Smart TV, washer, and dryer. Step outside to the lakeside deck and enjoy the peaceful views.

Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in Queen bedroom, living room and lower level, and an electric BBQ grill.

Pets are welcome with no additional fee. Please let us know about your pet when booking so we can prepare for your stay.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home, including the lower-level recreation area with a pool table, laundry area, lakeside deck, and private lake access. The only exception is the garage, which is reserved for owner use and remains locked during your stay.

Other things to note
We want your stay to feel easy and comfortable! A few helpful things to know before you arrive:

What to Bring:
We provide a starter supply of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and soap, plus a few coffee pods to get you settled. You may also find leftover basics like napkins, foil, or cling wrap from previous guests, but these items aren’t restocked regularly. For longer stays, you may want to bring or pick up:

• Food and beverages
• Additional coffee pods for the Keurig
• Extra paper towels, napkins and toilet paper
• Foil, cling wrap, etc.
• Personal care items

Outdoor Notes:
Firewood is not provided for the firepit, but bundles are available at nearby gas stations, grocery stores, and party stores. Please remember—no fires on the wood decks.

From spring through fall, lawn care is done bi-weekly (usually Tuesdays). The backyard sprinklers run nightly, so please don’t leave items you’d rather keep dry on the grass.

In winter, our local snow removal service will plow the driveway and walkways whenever snow exceeds 2".

Lake & Beach Area:
There’s a sandy beach area perfect for kids to dig, build sandcastles, or relax by the water. Dyer Lake has a mostly sandy bottom, but we’re required to maintain a natural “live edge,” so water access is limited to the dock or beside the beach area. If you’d like a larger swimming beach, there are several beautiful options within a 10-minute drive.

Trash & Maintenance:
Trash and recycling are picked up on Fridays. If you don't mind, please place both bins by the road Thursday evening and return them after pickup on Friday. We appreciate your help with this simple task, as it allows us to give guests the privacy they deserve during their stay.

Rarely, we may perform necessary maintenance during your stay, with notice, of course.

A Few Final Notes:
This is a Northern Michigan lakefront home, so you may encounter some of our local critters (bugs, wildlife, etc.). We can’t refund for sightings, but consider them part of the “Up North” experience!

We are proud to be a truly pet-friendly vacation home and do not charge a pet fee. The owners bring their own dogs when they visit, and many of our guests travel with pets as well.

Our cleaning team thoroughly cleans the home between stays, but because this is a pet-friendly property, we cannot guarantee a completely pet-hair-free environment. Guests with pet allergies or sensitivities should consider this before booking. Refunds will not be provided due to the presence of pet hair or pet allergens.

The property is not fully fenced, and the garage is reserved for owner use only. From time to time, furniture, décor, bedding, linens, and other furnishings may be updated or replaced without notice.

Hi, I'm Marisa. My son Patrick and his wife Lauren own this home. They live in Virginia with their two children (pictured). Patrick is from Traverse City and Lauren is from Massachusetts. They met in college in Southeast Michigan and now spend as much time here as family schedules allow. This is their family vacation home, not just a rental. Since they aren't here year-round, I help care for the home and assist guests during their stay.
