THIS WAS A GREAT FLAT, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. WARM AND CLEAN, PERFECT FOR THE 4 OF US. VERY REASONABLE. JULIE EVEN STAYED LATER, AS OUR FLIGHT WAS DELAYED.
We had a lovely stay in Julie's flat. Great position in Glasgow for walking the town. The flat is warm, friendly and well equipped. Wish we could have had a rainy week there to appreciate the books. Julie helped with local knowledge. The car ended up a little way away in the rain but we didn't want to use it anyway. Thank you Julie. We would like to come back some day.
Flat is amazing and Julie was pure gallas. Unfortunately I think the flat is coming off airbnb soon :( otherwise I'd write more wonderful things about it.
What a hip and charming place this is! We felt at home instantly after the nice welcome talk by super-friendly Julie! Thanks again! There was milk, there was coffee and there was internet: that's all the modern city nomad needs. But there was more: a friendly-stylish local background against which everybody looks extremely good, cozy bedrooms and a zen-like bathroom oasis, fantastic books (you don't often find that in holiday homes!), Jamie Oliver spices and even a far-reaching view. The only barrier within walking distance is the concrete aftermath of 60's traffic planning: the spaghetti-like intertwining motorway creates the urban sound fabric we tended to ignore later on... This apartment is sure worth a stay - and your calves will look better than ever after walking over the steep hill it is situated upon! Thumbs up!
The flat was extremely comfortable, nicely decorated and well-suited. Lots and lots of towels, essentials in the kitchen, very comfortable beds, peace and quiet were the best bits. Julie was very helpful on arrival and gave us lots of brilliant pointers. We were in Glasgow for a wedding so didn't have particular expectations of the city, but she managed to get us really excited about going out and exploring what turned out to be a really interesting and friendly city. We would thoroughly recommend this property.
We absolutely loved our stay at Julie's flat. It is totally gorgeous and in a great central location. We were using the SECC daily during our stay and with a 4 and 8 year old it was about 25 mins walk or £5 in a taxi.
Julie was a great host and spent time showing us around the flat and telling us all the things we could do / visit with the children. Glasgow is definitely on my list of cities to return to as we didn't have enough time and I couldn't see my family staying anywhere else other than Julie's flat. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the city.
Julie's flat was fantastic! My husband and I had a fleeting fantasy of just renting it for the rest of the summer. It's such a charming place that's been well-cared for, upgraded and smartly designed. Totally clean, totally comfortable, and Julie really goes out of her way to show you the best parts of Glasgow and make sure you're taken care of. It's also really easy to get anywhere in the city, so the location is ideal. We loved this place and will come back as often as we can.
Beautiful flat in a great location. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay in August during 3 days. Julie welcomed us cheerfully, showing us what to do in Glasgow, where to eat and what to see. We felt at home in Julie'a apartment, which is spacious, well situated and well equipped. Nothing was missing, she even has an umbrella that was very useful when raining. We would recommend it to everyone. So if you are still wondering if you should choose her, don't hesitate anymore!
Second time with airbnb... and another fantastic flat!
Everything was perfect!
WYSIWYG, and even more... incredible location, wi-fi, close to everything, lovely athmosphere...! :-)
And thanks to Julie, her husband and the children for all!
Look no further: this is the place to stay in Glasgow!
See you next time in town guys!
