  • This was the best AirBnB experience I've had so far. Drew's place was located in a perfect spot, tucked away where I could relax but an easy walk to where the action was. I suggest catching the sunset from the nearby Transmitter park. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, rustic and industrial but with all the modern conveniences one would want. Drew was great about communicating and being flexible, a real solid guy. This was a fantastic place I really beat staying in Manhattan, I felt like I was able to experience the "real" New York from here.

  • My parents stayed at Drew's Greenpoint loft while visiting me in New York. Drew's communication was superb, he checked in with me a number of times over our stay at his apartment making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was spotless and had tonnes of character. It is perfectly located to explore Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Manhattan is a 15 minute subway or ferry away. I couldn't speak highly enough of Drew and his apartment. His hospitality really made my parents trip to New York. I with recommend staying at Drew's to anyone who is after a real NY experience.

  • We loved Drew's apartment and fell in love with Greenpoint with its proximity to the water, a great view of the Manhattan skyline and great industrial spaces. Drew was an excellent host - clear, organized and communicative. The care that he took with the space and his simple yet aesthetic approach reflected his genuine interest in creating a good experience for his guests. I highly recommend Drew!

  • What a great place !
Drew's appartment is clean, beautiful and in a wonderful area.
The north of Greenpoint is a mix of industrial buildings, modern condos and charming littles house. It's very safe, with some good restaurants and bars. And you can be in Manhattan very quickly.
It's just 1 block from East River and the fabulous view on the skyline (you can also have the view from the apartment when you are at the window).
We spend a very good time there and we can recommend it to every one who want to have a great experience in New York.
    Thank you Drew for everything.

  • Drew was a wonderful host. His communication and responsiveness was excellent from the moment we booked the place. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, well-lit and in a great location. It's a space that is clearly taken care of. We appreciated the thoughtful details-- tea/coffee, towels, etc. We would definitely seek out this space again for trips in the future.

  • I can't say enough great things about Drew's place (and Drew)! His place is totally immaculate, has a great NYC loft vibe and the huge windows let in a lot of light. Drew was really easy to talk to and always responded quickly. He's super thoughtful with the extra touches, including the yogi tea - which happens to be my favorite. Everyone we encountered in the building was very friendly as well, and it couldn't be in a better location. Everything you could ever need for a great NYC trip.

  • Perfect AirBnB experience, by far the best I ever had. Drew was an excellent host, communication was easy and quick and it was great to meet Drew before staying in his flat. The flat itself is awesome! Great location close to the Williamsburg scene and also very easy to commute to Manhattan and JFK - the subway is really close. Great trendy bars and restaurants close by, still very quiet and safe.

The apartment itself is beautiful. Very nice building, great design (exposed brick, industrial floors) and decoration. Also, you have plenty of entertainment options - I'm a huge fan of the Sonos wireless music system and Apple TV with netflix. You can tell from every detail that Drew really cares about his place!

I would also like to emphasize how clean the apartment was. In my experience AirBnB places are usually pretty clean but Drew's place was really absolutely spotless. He made an extra effort to make me feel comfortable and I appreciate that a lot.

I could write so much more but here's the verdict: Great host, beautiful and cosy apartment that has everything you need in an awesome location. This is not only a great AirBnB place, it was also so much better than the tiny room in a Midtown Hotel my company put me in and which was $300/night more than this...

  • Awesome apartment in a superb location. Really great stay, Drew was easy to work with regards check in/check out and his apartment was the perfect base for my week of work in the NYC area. Cannot recommend highly enough. Very, very cool.

  • Drew's apartment was the perfect place to explore Brooklyn and Manhattan - the subway and the East River Ferry only a 5 min walk away. It is also central within the Greenpoint neighbourhood: lot's of restaurants, cafes, pubs, etc. - Manhattan Avenue the main street is only a block away.
Drew was always attentive and easy to connect with. His place is tidy and tasteful, quiet and with lots of light and fresh air.
    Great place!

  • Though I actually never met him because he was out of town, Drew was by far the most communicative host I've had. Check in and check out was very easy. But more importantly the apartment is perfect. Immaculate and spotless, homey but appointed in just a way that I didn't feel like I was staying in some stranger's apartment. Location is great, very close to all the amenities that Williamsburg has to offer, but away from all of its hustle and bustle. Being on a side street, it is very quiet. Highly recommended!

About
Hey everyone, my name is Drew. I currently live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I moved to NYC 6 years ago to pursue a work opportunity and have thoroughly enjoyed my time exploring all it has to offer. It's a wonderful city to experience as a young professional and I highly encourage all those who have not visited to come at once. I was introduced to Airbnb by a friend and have heard nothing but good things from those who have rented their spaces or traveled to others. I am excited about the opportunity to share my apartment as I feel it will provide you with a much more personal and unique experience that you will not find staying at a hotel. As a guest I promise to be very respectful of your space and extremely clean. A little bit more about me: I love everything food, music and fine arts, traveling, outdoor activities. I spend two-three weeks every summer in New Hampshire and have a deep appreciation for nature. One of my new hobbies that I recently picked up is triathlons. I competed in four this summer and am now totally addicted.
