Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We drove up from Canberra to Sydney late one night and were really grateful that Susanne was so accommodating. The caravan had everything we needed and it was really easy to find her place. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend much time with Susanne herself.

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Susanne and Gary. Staying in their quaint little caravan was a bit like camping in comfort, but we had everything we needed. There is a toilet outside, but the inside bathroom is also available for showers, etc. The caravan sits in their back garden and is beautifully shaded by vines. We shared some great breakfasts and pots of tea with Gary and Susanne and had really interesting, stimulating conversations with them. Train transport to Sydney CBD is not far away, it takes about 45 minutes to go to the city. Shops and a public swimming pool are within walking distance. Gary and Susanne know a lot about the region and the Campbelltown community and its history. Even though its a fair way from the city it is really good value for money and we would definitely choose to stay with Gary and Susanne again

  • This was a lovely experiance. The accomidation is basic but clean. There is a lovely friendly feel about the place and everything is laid back. If you are not looking for frills this is the place to be.

  • Susanne and Garry were friendly and welcoming. We almost thought they was something wrong with them because they were so nice (you just don't meet people like that). They even took the extra effort to drive us back to the train station. The caravan is equipped with supplies for making tea and you have access to the house for other cooking needs. There is a toilet next to the caravan which is convenient. The shower is located inside the house. There's a private entrance making it feel like your own little get-away! On a personal note I like that they are environmentally friendly.

But before staying I'd make sure there's no train trackwork or special events happening that will effect public transport. It would probably be better if you have a car to when staying here. The public transport with the buses/trains never worked out (as the bus is pulling up the train is leaving and visa versa).

  • Susanne was a very nice host and her accommodation was exactly what we were looking for with only needing a place to crash for the night from a long day of driving.

  • The stay in Suzanne Caravan was really good. I felt like a Part of the Family. We had a great weekend and the Caravan was clean and good to sleep.

  • My son and I stayed in Sydney recently at Susanne and Garry's place as we had to attend my niece's wedding. We were made most welcome and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Both our hosts were wonderful and their little dogs delightful. I loved the chooks in the backyard and the cockies and parrots that came to visit were a treat. I would definately stay there again as hotels and motels are so dry and lonely by comparison. Susanne's place has life and personality. It was so good just to sit on the back decking drinking coffee and chatting whilst looking at the native birds and the world at large.
