I had a great stay at Jane's apartment a few weeks ago. I was there for 6 days. The location was great for my purposes, just a short walk to St. Peter's with several restaurants and coffee shops along the way. There was a great little grocery store about 100 yards down the street from the apartment with everything you could need. The neighborhood was pretty busy during the day but very quiet at night. I was a female traveling alone and I never felt unsafe, even at night. I also enjoyed a lot of time on the patio, great spot for afternoon sun. Jane was unable to meet me when I arrived but her friend greeted me right on time and was very helpful with tips and recommendations. Even though I was there by myself, the apartment definitely has a lot of room for several people including two full bathrooms. The washer was a great thing to have available. A great experience overall!
We've spent 5 days in Jane's appartment. It is a well equipped flat. We were very surprised and happy to see that each "room" had a bathroom, with towels, shower gel etc. Due to the recent wether, the appartment was humid, but it was not a big problem.
The appartment is very well situated : 2 min walking to San Pietro trainstation, 5 min walking to San Pietro square.
La pasamos estupendo en Roma. El apartamento de Jane está muy bien ubicado y es muy acogedor. Jane y Alessandro son muy amables y nos suministraron la información pertinente y útil.
It was a great time in Rome. The flat is wonderfully situated. It has 2 bathrooms with shower. They were was not the newest standard, but clean and well maintained. Everything worked, including the air conditioning in both rooms. In the little kitchen all the utensils were there and a big grocery store open until late is just around the corner. The train station Roma S. Pietro is also just around the corner - it can't be told by looking on (website hidden) maps, but there is a far-north exit/entrance to the station. The flat is far from the main street, but you can hear some cars passing by. The bed linen and towels were all prepared for us.
Only one night after a VERY heavy rainfall some water got inside on the floor. In Italy all floors are tiled, so it wasn't much a problem.
Jane was very flexible when meeting us and gave good local advice and information. The apartment was in a great location and was very spacious, clean and the portable wifi was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and/or stay again. Thank you! Joh, Vic, Trudy and Trish
Jane was a very welcoming and helpful host. Her apartment and terrace are exactly as described. She provides a mobile wi-fi access you can carry around Rome with you, which is a nice benefit.
We spent 4 nights at Jane's apartment and had a lovely time. Jane met us on arrival and gave us the lowdown of the local area and good places to eat and drink around Rome. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from St Peter's Church and a slightly longer, but very pleasant walk to Piazza Navona. Nice spacious rooms, great errace to relax on in the evening and Rome - what a fantastic place.....
The apartment has Vatican views. Its comfortable and has a great verandah. Jane is very helpful...brought us wifi and made sure we had all that we needed for our 2 kids. The apartment is near to the train station and is in a good area near to the supermarket. Thank you Jane.
I stayed in the apartment with my husband and 2-year old kid, and it was a perfect size for us. We used one room as a bedroom and the other one as a living room. We also used the kitchen which is small but has everything necessary. The terrace is large and very nice. The location is good, although using buses in Rome was quite difficult with a small child as they tend to get very crowded. It is also possible to walk to most of the major attractions. Jane is very nice host and responded to our needs promptly. The only downside of the place is a slight damp smell, so you have to ventilate a lot. Otherwise, good value for money.
Vraiment super !
