  • What a great experience! We stayed at the Sumac Guesthouse for several days and absolutely loved it. Erik and Toby were great hosts and keep the place very clean. We have indoor allergies, such as dust mites, etc. They have wood floors and no carpeting so it was perfect - no problems with allergies. We needed the kitchenette and were close to our family who was staying in North Boulder. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.

  • My husband and I stayed at the Sumac Guesthouse during our trip to Boulder. We loved it! The Guesthouse was impeccably clean, tastefully and simply decorated, close to the downtown activity of Pearl Street, but in a quiet neighborhood. The bed is quite comfortable and we made ourselves breakfast each morning in the well-designed kitchen. Wonderland Lake is right across the street so you can take an early morning hike or run. There's a very nice market and cafe just two blocks away. We were mostly out hiking and exploring the town, so we didn't run into Erik and Toby a lot, but when we did, they were most kind and helpful. Thank you, Erik and Toby for providing such a peaceful home base for our Boulder adventures!

  • Erik and Toby were wonderful. Very helpful. The Sumac house and the location were ideal - easy access to stores, downtown Pearl district, hiking and a B biking kiosk. Exceeded all expectations. I have already recommended their place and hope to stay there again! Truly an Authentic Boulder experience!

  • Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Great hosts, ideal location, awesome flat!
Peace, quiet, and steps from the perfect 1.3 mi hiking/jogging/walking loop (plus extensions every which way) - Wonderland Lake. We ahd a ball!!

  • The Sumac Guesthouse was perfect for a friend and I on our girl's weekend. It has access to the local urban trail system just a block away and is not far from downtown Boulder either. The accommodations were just perfect and included a small refrigerator, an oven and range, and your choice of either a drip or french press coffee maker! The best part was shelves full of good books and no t.v.!

  • Our visit was perfect! Unfortunately we had a packed schedule and we weren't able to take advantage of the beautiful trails surrounding the house, but the accommodations were exactly what we needed- quiet, comfortable, clean, and a full kitchen. The sauna was such a bonus! Erik and Toby were incredibly easy to work with and we hope to see them again in the future. Thanks!

  • GREAAAAAT place. Convenient to Pearl St and yet out of town enough to...well, feel out of town. Currently my favorite Boulder airbnb. I go to Boulder at least 6 times per year and this one is definitely a keeper.

  • Beautiful space, good bed, plenty of room, nice kitchen with gas stove. Nice extras like books to read (I read a few Dilbert cartoons one morning), toiletries like sunscreen & lotion, coffee, sugar cubes...it was a pleasure to stay here.

  • Erik and Toby were lovely hosts. Helpful and great communication from booking onwards. The guesthouse is a great base to visit Boulder - clean, quiet and comfortable and good location - out of town enough to be quiet, but close to all you'll need and good transportation to be downtown etc. Will stay there next time I'm in town!

  • Great place with all you could need in North parts of Boulder.
Close proximity to Wonderland Park and trails and grocery stores.
We only met Toby and Erik shortly (since we were out a lot) but they were friendly and helpful.

    Highly recommend this place.
