  • I stayed at this loft for one weekend with three of my friends and we all liked it a lot. It is very spacious and more than enough for 4 people. Erin's loft is indeed in a prime location only blocks away from most city's attractions. It has a big and nice kitchen if you are into cooking. The TV, PS3 and the movies will entertain your all-nighter. Erin was very responsive and flexible with our stay there. I will definitely consider coming back and/or recommending this place to my friends.

  • The place was spacious and with a very cozy living room.

Well located and with everything you might need. I would come back.

  • This loft was in the best location for us and was shockingly spacious! Tons of room! It had the feel of staying at your buddy's place. It wasn't SUPER clean, but clean enough. Parking was an amazing perk especially in the freezing snow. We had issues with the heat not staying on consistently but they were very very helpful with fixing the issue. Super nice owners. Would stay here again.

  • It's a large apartment, with a great big TV and super comfy bed. We had some small things we needed to contact the host about while we were there and found him super helpful and quick to get back to us. We made use of the kitchen for breakfasts which was nice.

  • Below is our review to assist others when considering this property. This trip was for business, not a vacation. Had my husband had more time to interact with the owner, he probably would have contacted Erin directly (and things may have been different.) Upon departure, he did leave a note for Erin, addressing some items that did require attention... to which we did not receive any response. Overall Review PROS: • Location: This location was very convenient to the client site. • Unit: The unit had nice upgrades. Two bathrooms is a plus when traveling with others. Good movie/DVD selection, reading materials, PS/3 games. • Price: The rate was fair for the area and surrounding units. • Left-over pizza* in refrigerator was actually nice since all the travel delays postponed the 8 p.m. arrival to nearly midnight. CONS: • Communication: o I received a two word response to our request for accommodations.(That works) and then did not hear anything back until I contacted Erin, the day before arriving, for instructions on how to retrieve the key. o Erin opted to just leave a note on the counter explaining how to make the heater unit work when it shut itself off – instead of contacting us directly even though he had ALL of our contact information i.e. phone numbers AND email addresses, and could have easily shared this information with us at any time prior to arrival. (It would have been nice to have an option to cancel and change accommodations to ensure a comfortable stay. • Maintenance Issues: o Entrance Key/Lock does not work smoothly in the door. o The HEATER did not function properly. This is a REAL issue in Chicago winter weather. o The commode in the upstairs bathroom ran continuously o The internet went out the morning husband was leaving and he did not have time to call Erin to address before heading to the client site... we understood these things can happen. • Cleanliness and amenities: o *Pizza crust in sink and crumbs on counter left for husband to clean up – perhaps our price for the left-over pizza? o There were no washcloths to be found anywhere anywhere in the unit. (Husband did find comic books, scattered under pots and pans in kitchen cabinets, which he read, cleaned (some kind of gunk on them), organized and left on the table. Yes, having met Stan Lee in person he respects the comic book!) When communicating with Erin, prior to this review he did respond thusly: • His cleaning lady moves stuff so you may need to hunt for washcloths. • He should be contacted immediately for any issues so he can resolve them quickly. • The comic books are not for guests to use. • He offered a refund of $100 if we opted NOT to review the property. We choose to provide a review and explained why to Erin... he responded he understood.
***rate charged to us $150/night w/broken heater - now charging $117/night

  • Pictures perfect - clean and great location from downtown and the Blue Line. Very helpful folks. Even taxi rides back to Loft were not expensive. We were there for the ChristmasMart - so much fun. Would use them again if going to Chicago. This is my second AIRBNB trip -- only way to travel. Safe and easy to use.

Thanks for the use of your great place! Happy Holidays!

  • I lied this nice, clean and spacious apartment near the Loop. Good value for a visit to Chicago during the RSNA conference.

  • I visited Chicago for two days with two friends. There was plenty of room for the three of us and there are two bathrooms. The king size bed was big enough for the three of us but there was as well a very comfortable couch and an air mattress. The location of Erins Apartment is really perfect.Only 5 to 10 minutes to the Willis Tower. We reached everything by walking.
Even if I did not meet Erin in person, it was very easy to get all our questions answered via text messages at once. I would definitly come back! Thanks for a very pleasant stay!!
