Alessandro was very welcoming to upon our arrival in Rome. We meet as arranged and he showed us the room and spent time with us explaining the area, where to eat and transport options for us to get around. His information made our time in Rome stress free and we were able to make the most of our time. He also informed us of local sights to see and places to eat which truely enhanced our experience.
This was my first airbnb experience and I can't say enough good things about my stay and our wonderful host, Alessandro, whose generosity and hospitality stretched from the very beginning to the very end of our trip. He not only picked up my friend and I from our station (and later on dropped us off when we left), but he also took the time to show us around the neighborhood a bit and give us a little introduction to Rome. He treated us to espresso at the little shop near his apt before sitting down us down and carefully explaining transportation and giving us recommendations on where best to visit and eat. He was always very each to reach and quick to respond. The apt itself is very charming, stylish even, and pristine- it is a bit out of the city center, but with the help of Alessandro, transportation is very easy to use and accessible. During the weekdays, there is an open market right below the apt that is great to visit for very cheap but amazingly delicious fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, and even fish (!) for all your picnicking and cooking needs. Overall it was a lovely stay at a lovely apartment, and Alessandro went over and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome in the beautiful Eternal City :) Thank you!!!
Alessandro was a great host! He was so friendly and helpful showing us how to get around Rome, things to see and his favourite local restaurants. We went to one called Meat and it was delicious. He even bought us an espresso when we arrived to the neighbourhood. Alessandro really goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need and he dropped us off at the train station on our way back to the airport. The room we stayed in was also great and had everything we needed for our stay as well as being very light and airy however, at night it did feel quite warm but this is a minor issue and did not impact on our experience. Overall a lovely room and a great host I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome.
One of the best welcomes we received as Alessandro drove up to the railway station to pick us up and take us to his apartment. He also helped us in buying multiple-day ticket passes for local transport - very helpful - and showed us around the restaurants that we could eat at. The place was awesome.
Alessandro byl moc přijemný, vyzvednul nás a ukázal nám apartmán, ačkoli bylo pozdě v noci tak vysvětlil nám cestu do centra a vše potřebné!
Our host, Alessandro, was very welcoming. He gave us a full tour of the vicinity and drove us from the station to his house upon arrival and then again on our last day, to catch the train to the airport. Our stay was lovely as it is a local neighborhood a while off from the city center yet we could make use of public transport Iin the form of buses and trams. You do a lot of hiking in Rome as the attractions are far apart - I would highly recommend renting a bicycle! Rome is a lovely city with lots of culture! :)
Alessandro is very nice that it is far better than our expectation!!when we just arrive Rome, Alessandro drove us to his home and introduce the nearby facilities and shops to us throughout the drive. Also, he has kindly taught us how to get to the city center and sites with map provided to us. The best thing is that the apartment is very beautiful as shown in the photos and it is quite convenient to get to the city center!!
