Heather's apartment is a lovely sun-filled loft in a brilliant position. It's very well appointed with ample seating, space and kitchen facilities. The double bedroom is charming and spacious too. The daybed in the living room looks lovely but has very worn springs and is not suitable to sleep on. However, the sofa under the window is quite comfortable if you need an extra bed. Overall, the apartment has a really lovely feel to it - a delight to come back to after a long day exploring and the Nolita/Soho area has some of the best shopping and eating in all New York city. And a big thank you to Heather for leaving extra keys, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers too!
I loved Heather's loft. It was such a nice change from my usual hotel stay at the Standard. When I arrived, Heather welcomed me in her beautiful apartment with classical music and lit candles. The freshly ground coffee was a treat. I also had breakfast in her café around the corner. My only regret was not to have more time to explore the area.
This loft is absolutely amazing, even better than the pictures! The location is perfect, with everything you will need around, the best supermarkets, restaurants and all kind of fancy stores. We spend an amazing week, thank you Heather and Michelle.
Great loft, in convenient place, close to restaurants and transport. Heather was a fantastic host. We absolutely loved her juice bar and cafe around the corner. We would recommend the loft to all our Aussie friends coming to visit NYC and will hopefully be back one day ourselves. Thanks again Heather!
The apartment is just incredible - the pictures barely do it justice. Plus as a host, Heather is really helpful and flexible. I can't recommend highly enough.
Gorgeous loft, tastefully decorated, very bright and with lot of space. It is truly as nice as the pictures show. And the host Heather is very nice and friendly, I would definitely recommend her apartment.
Staying at Heather's place was a great experience. Heather was easy to communicate with and she even offered to get us reservations at the restaurants that she owns in the city. The apartment is an amazing place to stay in one of the most exciting neighborhoods in the city. It's great to have the option to walk to one of the many bars/restaurants in the neighborhood or just stay in and avoid the weekend crowds.
Heather's loft is a hidden gem in the best part of town. She has created a beautifully artistic home that is comfortable, spacious and unique in every way. Whether you want to curl up on the couch and flip through her eclectic collection of books, host a dinner seated at her incredible dining table, or relax in the antique bath tub, this loft is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Heather is extremely accommodating and responsive to all of your needs - she even booked us an amazing table at her restaurant downtown. By far my best stay in NYC!
Heather's place was even better than what we were expecting and hoping for. It feels (and is) truly lived in, spacious, decorated with character and unusual taste, and most of all comfortable - the bed and bedding were well above the norm, as was the very open yet somehow cozy living area. Overall, the apartment has the sensibility of someone who really cares about how she lives and about how her guests experience that.
Location is excellent, right at the edge of Nolita and easy walking distance to just about anywhere of interest downtown, including several of the restaurants she owns. We ate at one of them, Pulqueria, which is authentic, high-end Mexican situated, subtly and surprisingly, in the heart of Chinatown.
Note that Bowery street is a bit noisy, but once you're in the apartment you're in the midst of (stylish) privacy and nicely secluded. Also worth noting that the apartment is bright all day, both in the bedroom and living area.
All in all one of our best Airbnb stays and by far the best one we've had in NYC.
Heather's apartment is much more of an experience than a place to stay. Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. You feel that you are living in a home away from home. Situated, in my opinion, in one of the best parts of New York it has all the vibe of living in the thick of New York life, yet it is also the perfect escape from it. A peaceful sanctuary which gives you the dichotomy of - do I go out or.....is it better to snug up and stay in?
I am amazed that we were the first guests she has had there - it felt that she has been hosting for a long time.
I would definitely go back for another experience. Thank you Heather.
