About This Listing
**I am looking for a subletter for June. Please contact me if interested! Thanks!**
This is a beautiful, cozy, corner studio on the fourth floor of an historic building in downtown New Haven. The location is ideal––opposite the Art School, adjacent to the stylish Study Hotel. Best of all, it's right next to the Yale Campus.
The apartment gets plenty of light, overlooks Yale's bell-towers, has hardwood floors, a full-size bed, comfy reading chair, snug kitchen, and custom closet for longer-term stays.
The neighborhood is my favorite part of New Haven. Take the elevator down to JoJo's cafe for a morning coffee. On the same block you'll find boutique shops, plenty of restaurants, theaters, galleries and museums.
What I love about this apartment is how quiet it is while being so centrally located. It's right next to shops and campus but when you get home you feel like you're in a sanctuary that's all yours.
Josh mailed the key to me in advance since I had a late flight coming into New Haven -- super helpful and stress-free solution! I absolutely adored the charm of his corner studio. If I ever need to return to New Haven, I will definitely opt for staying at this location. It's very close to everything I needed.
Josh was very nice and helpful both before and during our stay. Although we didn't meet him in person, he arranged for us to pick up the keys without any problems and left a little note in the apartment for us to find upon arrival.
The descriptions and pictures were accurate and precise. The location of the apartment was perfect and the accomodation itself was clean, organized, and cozy.
We can definitely recommend a stay at Josh's apartment for anyone who needs a convenient accomodation in New Haven that is close to Yale and many restaurants, shops, and bookstores.
We thank you, Josh, for your hospitality and your professionalism with which you made our stay unique.
Josh was a great host. He was very communicative and accommodating. The location of the apartment is just perfect for anyone visiting Yale. There are plenty of restaurants, markets, cafes and shops within steps of Josh's place. I would definitely stay again.
Josh was a great host and his apartment was super convenient while I was attending a conference at Yale. I appreciated the quick replies to my questions. I absolutely recommend staying with Josh if you are in New Haven.
Everyhing went awesome. I even didnt meet Joshua. We just had contact via mail. Ver y easy! He indicated me how to get to the appartment, where I can get the keys, the Internet access etc and he even let me a welcome message. I really felt at home. Its a nice but old appartment with a central heating system that activates and deactivates itself, but when doing it, it makes a lot of noise during 1 minute. Good location!
The studio was exactly what I was looking for and the pictures are very accurate. The location is ideal to anything in New Haven and the neighborhood was safe and trustworthy. Josh was great in communication and the check in/out process was cake.
