**I am looking for a subletter for June. Please contact me if interested! Thanks!**
This is a beautiful, cozy, corner studio on the fourth floor of an historic building in downtown New Haven. The location is ideal––opposite the Art School, adjacent to the stylish Study Hotel. Best of all, it's right next to the Yale Campus.
The apartment gets plenty of light, overlooks Yale's bell-towers, has hardwood floors, a full-size bed, comfy reading chair, snug kitchen, and custom closet for longer-term stays.
The neighborhood is my favorite part of New Haven. Take the elevator down to JoJo's cafe for a morning coffee. On the same block you'll find boutique shops, plenty of restaurants, theaters, galleries and museums.
What I love about this apartment is how quiet it is while being so centrally located. It's right next to shops and campus but when you get home you feel like you're in a sanctuary that's all yours.
Josh was a great host and his apartment was super convenient while I was attending a conference at Yale. I appreciated the quick replies to my questions. I absolutely recommend staying with Josh if you are in New Haven.
Everyhing went awesome. I even didnt meet Joshua. We just had contact via mail. Ver y easy! He indicated me how to get to the appartment, where I can get the keys, the Internet access etc and he even let me a welcome message. I really felt at home. Its a nice but old appartment with a central heating system that activates and deactivates itself, but when doing it, it makes a lot of noise during 1 minute. Good location!
The studio was exactly what I was looking for and the pictures are very accurate. The location is ideal to anything in New Haven and the neighborhood was safe and trustworthy. Josh was great in communication and the check in/out process was cake.
I really enjoyed my stay in Josh's apartment in New Haven. The location is outstanding and the room spacious and with all necessary amenities. Arrival was easy and communication with Josh beforehand and during my stay was very productive. Overall, I'd recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in New Haven near the university.
We loved staying at Josh's studio apartment. It is a fantastic location and we were just a few blocks away from campus and where our daughter lives. It was great having our own place. The bed was comfortable, no sound issues from the street, clean and simple-just what we wanted. Great value for the price! Good to know that there is not good internet from the apt. but there is a cafe on the bottom floor of the building where you can get good reception. We would come back in a flash!
Contact with Joshua was regular up to and during my stay which was a comfort. The place was perfect for me as it was minutes from Yale (which was my reason for visiting) and near nice restaurants. I also visited the cinema a couple of times which is only about a 10 minute (website hidden) Jo's café right downstairs was nice to sit and have a coffee and a bagel on a morning. The only thing I missed was access to wifi (and had I thought ahead I might have brought my laptop as there is no TV but that was my own fault - Just a heads up if you like to watch stuff on an evening). I could access it at JoJo's during the day but on an evening I just had to do without. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to New Haven. It is also within walking distance from the train if you don't mind a 20 plus minute stroll).
Josh was super helpful and friendly. He was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for people visiting Yale. Highly recommended!
