About the area:
Marylebone is an affluent area of London, defined by the historic area of Marylebone Village and encompassing neighbouring Regent's Park and Baker Street. It also incorporates the area immediately north of Marylebone Road, with Marylebone Station, the original site of the
Marylebone Cricket Club at Dorset Square, and the neighbourhood known as Lisson Grove to the border with St John's Wood.
Marylebone takes its name from a church dedicated to St Mary, the original of which was built on the bank of a small stream or "bourne", called the Tybourne. The church and the surrounding area became known as St Mary at the Bournewhich, over time, shortened to its present form of Marylebone.
An incredibly fashionable area of London since the seventeenth century, Marylebone boasts an impressive back catalogue of famous residents. The list includes the (fictional) Sherlock Holmes, Charles Dickens, H.G Wells, Jimi Hendrix,
Noel Gallagher, Madonna and Sienna Miller to name but a few.
With Oxford Street as its southern border, Marylebone is of course a world-famous shopping destination which includes the renowned Selfridges, and the smaller streets are
home to an abundance of boutiques and specialist shops, offering everything from haute couture to Stradivarius violins.
Many of London's best-loved attractions are situated in Marylebone, from rubbing shoulders with the stars at Madame Tussauds and unravelling classic mysteries at the
Sherlock Holmes Museum to recreating The Beatles' most famous album cover on a very recognisable pedestrian crossing at Abbey Road. For a break from city life, head to Lord's Cricket Ground to take in some world class sport, or
head to Regent's Park, home to the iconic London Zoo.
Hyde Park is also very close by, beyond which is the beautiful Royal Albert Hall, host to the annual BBC Proms and much more.
Located within walking distance to Lords Cricket Ground,Madame Tussauds, Oxford Street, London Zoo, access to 5 underground lines + 13 Bus lines to Euston, St Pancras,Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, West End Shopping,Theatres & Museums.

The flat was excatly as discrebed. Well epuiped and at a great location. There is a supermarket just across the street and the underground is a five minute walk away. Ramzan was very friendly and tryed his best to help when needed. The flat was very comfortable with a nice living room to rest at the end of the day. Our teenage had his own room and he falt very comfortable in it. The kitchen was clean and had every thing you need in it.
We (my husband and I and our two kids) had a wonderful time staying in Ramzan's apartment. The superb location just around the corner from Marylebone rail station was perfect for accessing Regent's Park, Marylebone High Street and everything that London has to offer. Ramzan has clearly put a lot of thought and care into what you might need during your stay, from arrangements to get keys, a helpful video, to allowing us to store our bags when we arrived earlier than check in. He also personally gave us great advice about highlights to see during our stay. We made full use of the Tesco Express across the street which is super handy. And if you're looking for great fish and chips, look no further than a few doors down at the Sea Shell. We will for sure come back and rent this great apartment on our next visit to London.
Ramzan sent an email and Youtube tutorial beforehand and did everythingin his power to make us feel welcome and at home.
The appartment is in a very good area with easy access to all the sights of London.
His place is perfect for 3 people and has everything we needed, even extra pillows.
I definitely recommend this place!
Firstly the positives-ramzan was excellent in communicating with us and the unit was in an excellent position, great area of London, 2 min walk to Marylebone station.
The negatives-not what we expected, not clean, beds uncomfortable, and overall in poor condition!
Firstly thank you for your booking, much appreciated.
Not clean - I pride myself in a 5 star rating for cleanliness, and prior to your arrival I personally checked the apartment and it was cleaned and prepared by my cleaner to the usual high standards. At no point during your stay did you highlight any cleanliness issues. I take cleanliness very seriously and with 200+ reviews, this is my first negative feedback on cleanliness.
Beds uncomfortable - I will follow on this and rest assured comfortable beds are a top priority for me, I only buy handmade beds and mattresses by a reputed London company.
Overall in poor condition - I am assuming this was in reference to the apartment? Again I take pride immense pride in ensuring the place always looks it's best. Both bedrooms have recently been repainted, the hallway and living room will also be repainted in coming weeks. I outright refute your comment that the place is in poor condition.
You also suggested I could provide larger towels, I use linen from a reputable London laundry that also supplies major hotels in the city. The towels provided are therefore the same size and quality as found in most major hotels.
With all stays, I personally check with guests to ensure all is ok and ask guests to highlight any issues or concerns during that check in, I have read your reply via text to me saying : all great, and comfortable, thank you.
To be honest I am rather stunned with your comments and feedback.
