To continue having a great place to share with other travelers, I ask that you treat my home as your own. This is not a hotel, and I don’t charge a ‘cleaning fee’ because I like to think that we can all clean up after ourselves in respect of both my home and future travelers.
Please respect my home and my neighbors:
Olivia’s condo is an ideal place to enjoy a Portland summer. I spent July and August here and greatly benefited from the fantastic weather, beautiful view and wonderful walking environment. The room is a simple studio, but feels much larger than it shows in the pictures. The place is done up to feel quite fun and adventurous for the traveling type.
Coffee at the corner and then a mile walk into downtown - via the waterfront shops. Hard to do much better than that.
The wifi is fast and reliable. Quiet, efficient washer and dryer right in the room. Full and useful kitchen. The parking spot is a real boon. I only used it a few times, but it was very handy to have. The condo building is elegant and in a trendy part of town. The building management isn’t geared towards short term residents, so Olivia’s condo is really for people who keep a low profile and blend in well with young professionals or active retired folks.
Olivia was great to work with in every way.
Definitely on my list of places to return to when visiting Portland again.
I loved my 4-month stay at Olivia's condo. The condo was a cozy, quiet place to relax. It has all of the amenities you need to feel at home. The bed was very comfortable. I have a standard sedan-sized car and parking was very easy. Parking was very easy, plus I knew my car was secure. The streetcar is a great option for getting from the condo to anywhere in west Portland. When the pedestrian/transit bridge opens up, it will be easy to take the streetcar across the river to east Portland as well. I would stay here again and highly recommend it over staying in a Portland hotel.
-Very efficient studio
-great for those who enjoy cooking
-super hot water in shower
-reliable, fast internet
-warm, safe garage parking
-super friendly, helpful concierge
-Olivia is very hospitable
-a bit toasty during the afternoon sun, but this is mitigated with air conditioning
-bed is very low to the ground, but is quite comfy
-needed a desk, but picked up $30 folding table from Wal-mart and all was right with the world.
Honestly, I believe this to be the best rental in PDX. You will find this to be a great rental when working or playing in Portland.
Olivia's condo was perfect! This was my first visit to Portland and the location of the condo was excellent. I was a few blocks to the street car which was easy to use and took me everywhere. The condo was also 2 blocks from a beautiful waterfront promenade where I could enjoy the beauty of Portland. There are a few restaurants in the neighbourhood which are convenient (and very good). The condo was bright and clean and the building secure with very friendly concierge and neighbours. I highly recommend Olivia's condo and hope to use it again.
