The house is very well located in the heart of the medina, close to the most important attractions of the city (+/-10 min walking distance), like the Jema el Fna square and the Madrasa Ben Youssef.
There are a lot of groceries, souvenirs and handicraft shops in the area, as well as restaurants and cafés, but I am a great cook and love to share meals with people.
There is public parking nearby as well as bus stops at the square and even closer a place to take a taxi.
At the house, there are two bathrooms, one kitchenette (with fridge and washing machine), three bedrooms and a terrace. There's hot water and internet (by USB modem). Bed linen can be provided. There are no TV sets, although there is one TV plug in the bedroom downstairs, but no satellite or cable.
There are two permanent guests with whiskers, spayed, vaccinated and very loyal to the litter box.
This is my house so I would like it also to be "your house" even if for a shorter period. We will be housemates and not just "host" and "guest".

Patricia is a respectful and friendly hostess. Her place has a great location in the medina, close to all tourist sites as well as shops, restaurants, cafes...it was a different experience than staying in an riad / hotel and a very positive one!
Patricia's place is well located in the old medina but is quiet. The price was great. Elephant and Mouse were also good housemates. Being able to use the kitchen and clothes washer were nice features.
This is a good place to bookmark.
Patricia is a very sweet person & although it was on very short notice, she was able to let me in smoothly.
The place is centrally located but if you are scared of walking alone at night in dark allies, you will have issues going out late at night. This is an issue with all places located in old medina.
I took the room in the ground floor so it felt like the kitchen, washing machine & bathroom were all mine :D
I liked the fact that I could smoke there because riads have an open ceiling in the middle (but this make it quite cold at night)
The reservation was canceled 31 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Awesome relaxed little house deep in the medina. Patricia is an excellent host full of local knowledge, advice and fun. So glad I stayed here and not in a guest house for 3 weeks :)
The best thing about Patricia's traditional Moroccan home is Patricia. She is a lovely host who is generous with her time as well as sharing her home. We shopped locally for fresh fruit and vegetable supplies, ate lunch and dinner on a few occasions and also with friends of hers. I was invited out to dinner, where we ate at one of the many restaurants/ outdoor stalls on the very lively Dejmaa El Fna Square, (which HAS to be seen in this life time. Put it on your bucket list!) Equally, I was left to my own devices to explore the city, relax or work in the house and in the sunshine on the terrasse. The house is quiet enough if you are working away from home, which suited me well. The room I stayed in was the converted living room so the kitchen is outside the door. This was not a problem, because as I have said it is a quiet house and otherwise you are mostly included or invited to any social activities. There was also a shower room and toilet on the same floor which I had exclusive use of, so that was nice. The apartment is in the heart of the souks and 5 minutes from the square. There is a lot to see in Marrakech and Patricia's place is a great base for that.
Paricias house is situated close to the Medina and thus directly on the famous Djama el Fna. The rooms are attractive and typical Moroccan décor, so that the right flair arises. Patricia herself is a very helpful and friendly person who takes the time to answer all questions and also helps in difficulties. She has good contacts in the neighborhood if you like to book a day tour. Her very sweet cats receive their new roommates very joyfully, so you feel like a little family. I glad to recommended Patricia as host for anyone who wants to spend cheap and comfortable in a friendly typical Moroccan accommodation.
Patricia is a great host and I have enjoyed her company and friendship during the period I stayed at her house. The room is cosy and I was comfortable in it throughout my stay, it also has its own bathroom which was a real bonus!
The area is central and at the same time very quiet.
Good terrace for reading and watching the sun set!
Patricia's apartment is well located within the Medina in a quiet residential area just minutes from all the Souks. The apartment has charm and character and also a lovely rooftop terrace, great for reading, eating or simply taking in view of Marrakech rooftops! Patricia is an excellent host, friendly and informative and respectful of her guest's privacy. I enjoyed staying there.
