John's place is more than you can imagine and he is a wonderful host. While the pics are great, it's even better in person. He was on time, easy to communicate with and full of great local recommendations. I will definitely be staying here whenever possible and highly recommend booking this listing
John was an incredibly welcoming, generous host. His loft is massive (~1400 sq ft), tastefully furnished with beautiful pierces and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is also massive with a large shower with good pressure. Easy parking in the building too. The location is close to Abbott Kinney, the beach, and major thoroughfares. I hope to keep on staying there the next times I'm out in LA.
John is the consummate host and was wonderful at making me feel welcome and at home. The apartment is gorgeous and located in a cool, off the beaten track area that allows some refuge from the touristy areas but is within minutes to every place you want/need to go. LOVED it!
I booked John's apartment for Raphael, a colleague of mine, who had an incredible time. The apartment was beautiful and so close to everything he needed. His dog Julius was also allowed with him, which made Raphael's whole trip, it was really lovely that he could stay in such a lovely space with his puppy! John was also super helpful and very communicative, which made for a very easy stay.
John was an incredible host. Friendly and helpful he made us feel like Kings!
The apartment was beautiful, conveniently located, well appointed and with a lot of space. Parking was easy and efficient and the location was perfect for us. John was very accommodating, always quick to respond to questions, and allowed us a late check out without any hesitation.
Our experience with John was awesome. He gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants in the LA area and is a very warm and welcoming person. The loft is perfect. John has great taste and has many vintage items located around the loft. We loved the high ceilings and balconies in the loft. It was so great to be able to keep both of the sliding doors open and let the breeze in. The location of the loft is perfect - easy access to the beach, stores, restaurants, highways. We actually walked to the shopping plaza a few times and also discovered a serious gem right around the corner from the lofts called Rainbow Acres. It is one of the best natural foods stores I've ever been in! Their salads are a great go-to for a quick, light, delicious meal. The walk from John's apartment to Rainbow Acres is literally 2 minutes. You can also very easily walk to many other stores and restaurants. John's loft gets you so much more bang for your buck than paying for a pricey place closer to the beach. The parking spot for his loft is also super convenient, as parking anywhere on the streets in/near LA is always a hassle! Definitely take a day trip down to Malibu (Zuma & El Matador Beach are amazing and much less crowded than Venice and Santa Monica). Oh, and the bed is so comfortable it's not even funny!
John is also very easy to get in touch with which not only made booking a breeze, but was also comforting to know during our stay there, in case we needed anything. No doubt we will be staying here for all of our future visits to LA!
Thanks again, John!
